What went right?
What went right?
Noelle got eaten by her own mob
That’s about it
getting cancelled
Catradora.
>What went right?
Yes.
>Catradora
Why do they all look so ugly? I just can't get over how it's like they tried their best to make it look so repulsive as possible.
Even the old She-ra cartoon with copy-pasted characters looked more appealing.
I am almost mad I ended up liking it once the villains were more in the focus, I was sure I would hate this series with my guts. Also, Entrapta and Hordak are the best characters.
This doesn't change that Noelle is a shitty person though, but at least I surprinsingly enjoyed the cartoon.
I just wish the budget was higher. It looked off 70% of the time.
No.
dumb frogposter
Your taste is fucking shit
Do I imagine things or have many of the fans suddenly dropped that show since the writer had that "scandal"?
Do these people genuinely care about what a creator of a show they like has said somewhere? Is it problematic to like the cartoon now?
>what went right
More like what went WRONG. How cam you guys enjoy shitty tumblr trash?
Show is woke shit made by a dyke who never seen nor care to respect the source material of this franchise
This is made to be pander towards the muh diversity crowd so yes they are the audience and yes they will drop something if it’s even slightly offensive to them
The ao3 page is almost dead. Why did this show's fandom die so quickly? Some fandoms for other shows still lasted longer tbf
See and The problem isn't just that they are all distancing because someone associated with the show was not 10000% woke for a second, the bigger problem is imo that they are surrounded by this shitty community, so even those that do not care and still love the show are now afraid of posting about it, because they fear some internet police fags to attack them because of "racism".
>Heyyy Adora
Gotta say I was against it at first but the last few seasons won me over.
Your taste is fucking excellent
Think its still alive in the Asian twitter artist sphere. Western fandoms as usual are trash.
>Western fandoms as usual are trash.
Transformerfag. Can confirm. Almost all cool and usually the best artists I know are from Asia and most fans that I communicate with as well. At least those I know are also more chill than most westerners, that love to stir shit up or have a complicated taste I cannot make sense of.
Nothing since no Skeletor
You're largely imagining things. It's a show that had its final eps air, there's always a drop-off in attention after a few months.
You're talking about twitter. Twitter has the attention span of a mayfly with ADHD. One ep into Lumberjanes and you'll have nothing more than the occasional confused idiot going "but I thought we canceled her...?"
Aaron Ehasz on Dragon Prince had to go through more shit before people eased off him, and he got another 4 damn seasons given to him, because studios have learned that twitter outrage is fleeting. Twitter ATTENTION might matter, but twitter outrage? Worthless.
I've been trying to watch this show, on episode 5 of season 1 now. The stiff and rigid animation is distracting. Does the animation improve?
Overall I think it's because they kinda had a good idea of where they were going and what they were trying to do.
The final season was rushed, sure, but overall, they never deviated from the show being character based and managed to sustain the momentum of the plot.
Not to say this show doesn't have flaws if you pick it apart, but it manages to stand up okay.
Well she's requested another He-Man/She-Ra Christmas special, so there's POTENTIAL for Skeletor...
Somewhat, but it never becomes a show with WOW action scenes.
animation is average.
I never thought it was bad or worse than any other show, but if it bothers you that much I don't think you'll be having a good time with the show
What scandal? I haven't heard of a scandal related to this show.
It holds up extremely well if you look at the other shows that got endings. There's only a handful of shows that did a better ending that felt like it was what the show had been building toward (Avatar and Mystery Inc off the top of my head), and a LOT of shows that ended with messy nonsense that blatantly weren't planned out until pretty near the end.
I've seen some Eastern and Southern Europeans still talk about it as well.
It exists mostly in the heads of the people talking about there being a scandal. Noelle said something that idiots took to be scandalous, she did a (stupid and unnecessary except in the eyes of idiots) apology, and went right back to tweeting. Nobody still cares except Zig Forums.
>expecting someone who calls themselves a non-binary lesbian to not kneel over to SJWs
true.
Although the last season was the most jarring for me to be honest.
But it serves its function well as an ending to the series enough that it does hold up.
