Picked this up at, oddly enough, HomeSense, in the section dedicated to coffee table books. It was $7.50. I do plan to read it though, which is more than I can say for a lot of my impulse purchases. >What are you reading? Mostly novels these days, for better or worse. >What’s next? Pulled the trigger on Final Crisis. I think I'll try to get through it over this weekend. I opened it to stretch the spine properly and looked at some of the 3D pages with the glasses on, it's beautiful. I missed a chance to get My War Gone By in hardcover on ebay for a reasonable price, but my LCS had the trades on sale so it worked out. Writing for Comics was something cheap I added to an Amazon order for free shipping. The Batman Annual is nice, I think Morrison's story in it is much better written than his Superman one.
It's all available for free on their website. Check a few issues and see if you like it.
A company called London Editions released them in England. The aren't like the annuals we know, they're reprints with a couple new prose stories. The 1986 Superman one also has some puzzles, a word search, maze, spot the difference, and letter scramble. I got these two because of the Morrison stories in them. Pic related is the Superman one that I posted last week.
This. I wish comics and cartoons would split already, almost all of the pedos and shitposters will vanish along to the toon board and storytimes will stay up longer.
