Future State characters speculation thread

Yara Flor is the least confusing to introduce if made right.
Super-family and bat-family are way harder to justify new characters since it's so convoluted already.
For Yara, it could be a flashback showing a lost amazon base on the amazon rainforest. if not lost, maybe they split for some reason.
now that the amazon rainforest is being burned down by farmers to give way to livestock, civilians are closer and closer to the amazons' home. So they decided to show up like aquaman did to tell the politicians and etc that humans are fucking up and they have to protect the rainforest and etc.
They can say that the amazons were ok with being discovered by indigenous people and vice versa, or they had some beef in the past but now it's all good. This would help explain how the character ended up with an indigenous name.
To this day there is some tribes living in brazil that never met anyone from modern civilization.
About the amazon burning to give way to livestock is also true to some extent and some stuff is being discovered like pyramids, marks of the soil, usually squares and circles and some dude even said that is possible that the Amazon rainforest is actually a man-made forest that grown too much when the people that lived there died due to some sort of disease.
Yara has so much potential but the chances of her being shit is almost 100%. Maybe someone might care tho since she has such a great design.

they already discovered a lost amazon colony in south america. it was in ww annual a few months ago.

>since she has such a great design
user, for the last time, just because you want to fuck a character DOES NOT mean it has a great design.

She's pretty cute, but yeah... I have to say that I don't like her costume either.

Perfection. I love her. I want her to replace Diana. At least for a while.

nice, this could help.
pic is some of the 500 geoglyphs found in a brazilian state covered by the rainforest, probably made between 3000ac to 1000ac.
And some studies now discovered that only 5% of the "Legal Amazon Rainforest" (the part of the rainforest that is protected by law and represents 59% of the Brazilian territory) have naturally fertile soil. so, a huge portion of the rainforest takes root in a man-made dirty called "terra preta" (black dirty).

Needs to be Diana's submissive love interest.

she has good design, her costume is kinda inspired by actual indigenous apparel, see the patterns and the ring thingy around the dude's arm.

Her design in OP's cover is good
the rest of the artists are kinda lost on how to draw it, specially the golden breastplate

>native south american design
>isn't topless
ONE JOB

Nah fuck off. The op image makes it look much more plain and generic.

Ohnonono the future state of DC

>lost amazon base on the amazon rainforest
I don't like this idea at all. To begin with... aren't amazons greek? what the hell were they doing in South america? and why the fuck would you build a base in the Amazon rainforest? the rainforest is NOT a good place to live, which is why there aren't many tribes there, if any. The forest itself doesn't let much sunlight in, which means you can't see shit inside of it. Unless the amazonians cut their way in, they wouldn't be able to live there. And considering there's better land nearby, the only reason they would be living inside the Rainforest is pure romantization of the place.

>just because you want to fuck a character DOES NOT mean it has a great design.
It literally does tho, she has an appealing design and that's all that matters.

>have naturally fertile soil
doesn't have naturally fertile soil
fix'd

>what the hell were they doing in South america?
maybe protecting something magical?

>the rainforest is NOT a good place to live
that just means people would not look for stuff there, so it's a good place to hide something

>aren't amazons greek?
so? it's the amazon rainforest, nobody knows what lies below all those trees. and as I said here people have been finding a lot of stuff that points to the rainforest being man-made garden that grow out of proportions. we are talking thousands of years before.
also, the connection between roman empire and the amazon has been done before in comics. it's comics.

you can read about the man-made dirty that made the amazon soil fertile here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terra_preta

I absolutely NEED a sexy sweaty latina to sit on my face so bad.

>HERPEN DERPADY GREEK GREEK GREEK
If you don't know anything about something, don't talk shit.

Im kind of shocked they brought back that X character from Teen Titans, someone in the team really liked the original series.

>some rando Brazilian chick wearing the W
>Internet: OHMYGOD I LOVE HER, I WANT TO HAVE HER BABIES!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't get this. We know nothing about her, and yet people are freaking the fuck out over her. It's undignified

Learn to read, retarded. Some people like her design and don't want it to be bad.
We are talking about it exactly because we don't know anything.

>people have been finding a lot of stuff that points to the rainforest being man-made garden that grow out of proportions
Natives in Brasil barely know how to hunt. It's unlikely they would have a garden, or grow anything. And if they did, it certainly wouldn't be in a forest where light doesn't even penetrates. That photo is most likely something made by the people who illegally destroy the rainforest than something a civilization made thousands of years ago. As for the black earth, it's probably due to decomposition of so many forms of life, which makes it extremely fertile. They call it 'life over life', or something along those lines. It's what happens in places like the Amazon rainforest, where many forms of life just grows over one another because there's nowhere else to grow. It's an extremely harsh enviroment, where large animals don't normally habitate. Like everything in comics, it can be explained through magic, but it doesn't make it believable. It really just seems like they chose the Amazon rainforest because it's the amazon rainforest, instead of something that actually makes sense. There has to be a better explanation other than "The greeks went to a place they didn't even know existed to protect a magical artifact put there by a civilization living in a jungle that is almost uninhabitable".

I'm not reading your wall of text regarding a character who has a 0% chance of being even remotely interesting. What fucking potential is there? She's just some rando who only exists in a shitty what if event.

>here's your Pegasus bro

>Brazilian girl
>wearing that much
is hard to explain, but if feels out of place

I promise you DC has intentionally forgotten that Beatriz and Tora exist. You may as well just accept that so that you can cry now, before you do it in public and embarrass yourself.

>It's unlikely they would have a garden, or grow anything
I'm not saying it was made by contemporary indigenous people. But terra-preta definitely has anthropogenic origins:
>Anthropogenic roots
Soils with elevated charcoal content and a common presence of pottery remains can accrete accidentally near living quarters as residues from food preparation, cooking fires, animal and fish bones, broken pottery, etc., accumulated. Many terra preta soil structures are now thought to have formed under kitchen middens, as well as being manufactured intentionally on larger scales.[14] Farmed areas around living areas are referred to as terra mulata. Terra mulata soils are more fertile than surrounding soils but less fertile than terra preta, and were most likely intentionally improved using charcoal.
This type of soil appeared between 450 BCE and 950 CE at sites throughout the Amazon Basin.

There is a lot of evidence about lost civilizations that used to live on the rainforest disregard everything we thought about how ruthless the environment is.

Suck my dick. I just don't understand how anyone can get excited for a character who is essentially a blank slate at present. Is it really just because she's Brazilian? Are Brazilians that thirsty for foreign representation? Granted, there's Beatriz and she and Tora are banished to limbo, but still.

Archeologists are using a tech named Lidar, which is a light radar. they don't even have to enter the rainforest, just cover it with drones to map it. there is a lot of things being discovered.

>Satellite Images Aided the Discovery of an Ancient Civilization Buried in the Amazon
>Airborne Lidar for Archaeology in Central and South America
>Teledyne Optech sensors map ancient civilizations under the rainforest

Some say that perhaps those civilizations had a population of two million people.

>I just don't understand how anyone can get excited for a character who is essentially a blank slate
design is good, people expect everything else to be good as well. it's not that hard

>people expect everything else to be good as well
People are fucking stupid if they expect anything good to happen under any circumstance. That's some premium naivete.

Based as fuck
