Only thing I'm thinking about is HOW and WHY the FUCK is scooby doo still running? WHY? God I fucking hate Hanna-Barbera cartoons so much.
Even as a kid I could tell that the animation was trash and CHEAP and boring. The plots were incredibly simplistic and cliché, always following the same fucking route, every single fucking time, and the show had the audacity to expect you to LAUGH and CLAP every single fucking time. A group of whoever-gives-a-fuck characters with zero personality (doihhhhh that's not true shaggy LOVES to eat and fred likes traps haha doiiiiih based and redpilled).
Yet even as a kid I could understand the dissonance between what was ACTUALLY FUN to watch and this show which only tried to FORCE you into thinking it was worth anything. I guess for boomers or similar, SB and the rest of the HB catalog was the ONLY source of animated entertainment for a long while, which is fair. But that time period is LONG fucking gone. We don't fucking need this shit anymore.
Is it alive for the same reason Archie comics are still around? Because it's basically this last bastion of non-sjw, non-lgbtbbq, non-poc forcing shite that runs everywhere nowadays? Is that it? The last true "whitey only" media out there? I guess I could see that, and that's fair, but the fact remains this is still scooby doo. It should've fucking died long ago.

I like that Fred is physically this beefy high school jock type but then he has 60s fashion like the ascot and the hairdo and he drives this very-60s looking van fucking around solving mysteries with a bunch of dorks who he is always really nice to, in other words Fred is a pretty cool dude in my book, I remember knowing a few people in high school who were built to be attractive jocks but hung out with the dorks and were nice funny people, there's a little bit of Fred in all of us
