Now that the dust has settled, can we admit this was rather dull aside from Quicksilver, the future segments and the two Xaviers scene?

>literally wasting my nigga Bishop
>Rogue and Kitty are wasted
>no scene with the 2 Eriks
They shouldn't have introduced them for wasting them like that.
I still think they should have dropped Wolverine as MC, the scenes of past and future characters were the only kino.

>no scene with the 2 Eriks

How would that even happen?

Something something Xavier

The whole "McAvoy" era is boring at best, garbage at worst.
Even First Class, which I've seen people actually like, I found terribly dull.

But yeah, Quicksilver was alright.

You say dull, I say the only non-embarrassing X-Men movie besides Logan. I know, embarassing is part of the franchise, but X-Men 1-3 are unwatchable to me now.

People even keep saying First Class is the best one. Have they seen it? It has some dumb kid flying around with a glider and literally screaming like a Banshee. And one character is Tsu Hao from Mortal Kombat.

Not at all.
It literally retconned out the bullshit, and made X-Men, 2, 3, First Class, DoFP, and Apocalypse a solid self enclosed six-movie saga.

I fucking hated it from day one and everyone else seemed to love it. I felt like I was taking crazy pills. I'm glad the masses have turned on it. I don't know anyone who used to like it that can defend it these days.

The same way "you can uhhhh go back into the past via telepathy". By imagining some bullshit reason and not dwelling on it so people don't automatically stand up and leave.

Imagine thinking X-2 isn't the best capeflick of all time? You Zig Forumsfags are insufferable. Logan is a terrible story and even worse film.

not even that, you can go to the past via... intangibility powers?

His mind goes intangible in the past..

X1 and 2 are the only two worth watching you normie scum. X3 and beyond are strictly for casual audiences. Magneto in 1 and Stryker in 2 are the only two worthwhile villains in CBMs. Maybe goblin in SM1 too but more for the performance than the full package of story and performance.

Comic costume accurated is bad

Movie was good, fa/tv/irgins getting filtered again

>How are you here, Erik?
>Magnets, Charles. How the fuck do they work?

>Rogue and Kitty are wasted
>dancing.gif

ESL please.
Also no one of those costumes is accurate.

I still like it desu

Honestly, the future segments aren't that great, like every X-Men movie they introduce a lot of new characters and don't spend any time making anyone care about them. The Sentinels don't look like comic Sentinels and they don't talk, it's just fighting wave after wave of silent robots. The Quicksilver scene may be good but he's nothing like comic Quicksilver, it's basically an OC with Quicksilver's power.

>Imagine thinking X-2 isn't the best capeflick of all time?
I'm not sure how so many people believed this in 2003, but imagine holding on to that opinion for 17 years, despite everything since.

None of those costumes are close to accurate.

Yeah, I rewatched a few years back and was shocked at how much I disliked it after having thought it great when I saw it in cinemas.

>and they don't talk, it's just fighting wave after wave of silent robots.
You turbofaggot. That's actaully what meade them so good. A full massive group of silent and ruthless predators, or you wanted them to make make quips like the Ultron?

the Fox X-Men movies (sans Deadpool and Logan) peaked here.

>There's no middle ground between silence and quipping
Even for bait, that's stupid.
The Sentinels aren't meant to be silent, nor meant to quip. They're meant to have enough intelligence to be able to communicate, to be able to give orders and threats, not enough to hold a conversation or make jokes. In this movie, like every other character, they look boring because they're scared of making things like look the comics, and making them silent didn't make them scary enough to frighten audiences. Maybe silent CGI monsters fighting extras in X-Men uniforms does it for you, but they could have done better.

>They're meant to have enough intelligence to be able to communicate
The movie showed more than enough that they're capable of working on teams and coordinate with each other really fast, making them speak would just make them being able to be localized unless it's for baiting.
>they look boring
For you, maybe

There hasn't been a single worthwhile villain since. Those two movies are perfect capeshit and I'm still salty about that yellow spandex line. Logan is legitimately retarded schlock for children who like the idea of an R rated film and joker is similar for teenagers and community college dropouts. BvS is hardly as good since Lex his a horrible villain from motivation to performance and if you truly think there's an MCU flick better than X1 or 2 you're not worth having a conversation with.

Logan is terrible. If they advertised that movie with an Eminem song like venom and sprinkled shitty pop music in without changing a single frame it would fit just as well. That movie's juvenile as fuck yet pretentious as can be.

You just don't like the sentinels because they're too comic booky, just say it. You enjoyed that they made them something different. That's fine, it's hardly an objective positive.
