Its awfulness is greatly overhyped by retarded bandwagoners, probably the same idiots who push the "Navi is annoying!!!" meme. The show is campy, but most cartoons in the '80s were. People seem to forget the show was made before any of the main Zelda cast had been given any proper character development, so of course creative liberties were taken. I'd say it's worth at least one watch.
