I started watching through this recently, currently around halfway through it right now. Why was this show considered bad again? Because there's humans? Because it's not Ducktales 2?
This show is a little crazy and off the wall at times, but it's been a fun watch
Quack Pack

Because people thought giving the nephews "attitude" was a terrible idea.
When you actually watch it, it's nice to see they actually have individual personalities rather than just being the same character three times over as they were in Ducktales.
Either way I feel Donald and Daisy are the real reasons to watch the show.
It had a interesting premise but it just reeked of 90s and didn’t really age well because of it
>Because people thought giving the nephews "attitude" was a terrible idea.
Speaking as someone who actually watched the show, this is the fucking reason right here Disregard any other bullshit posted in this thread
The MAIN reason why Quack Pack has gotten so much hate in recent years, is because people who had seen Ducktales saw that the nephews were turned from fairly innocent and bland but loveable kids, to dressing and talking like stereotypes of what late 90s kids considered cool
People saw one of them wearing a backwards cap and the other 2 looking like boy band members, and didn't give it a chance after that because it looked too try-hard in terms of modernizing the characters
And as a result they missed out on a fairly good (not great) cartoon because they wouldn't give it a chance, then went on the internet and acted like it was terrible
Daisy's really underrated in how she acts in this one. A real solid depiction of Donald and hers relationship.
I FEEL LIKE QUACKING SO I THINK I WILL
Seconded. I watched it back in the day because I was a big fan of all the Disney Duck stuff, and I thought it was pretty fun. It was nice that the nephews finally had their own personalities, and Donald and Daisy were pretty on-point.
It's not bad but it also rarely rises above average. Donald's sidelined and watered down, nowhere near to the extent of the new Ducktales show but you can feel it. Plus the writing can get downright lazy at times (Ducks By Nature and Stunt Double Or Nothing come to mind as particularly horribly written episodes). On the other hand, even if Don's not in top form he still is fine to watch for the most part, this has the best Daisy ever written, and the show can make for a comfy watch most of the time.
Nephews are hit or miss.
Quack Pack is a really underrated series and can be better than Nu-Ducktales, and it's fun, since the main focus was on Donald and his nephews, and the episodes are modeled after Donald Duck from classic shorts, from the golden age of cartoons movies. As for humans, they should know that in Donald's classic shorts there were also humans, as well as in the early comics of Carl Barks and in some Italian comics, and humans are also present in Gummy Bears, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, Bonkers, but also in Legends of the Three Caballeros, where humans are gods (the case of Xandra). Simply put, humans are an integral part of Donald's universe, but you can't simply explain to humans when they're not used to it.
I prefer Daisy from Donald's Diary, Ducktales and House of Mouse.
It's only average when compared to Goof Troop and every other animated Disney kidcom
>Because there's humans?
I prefer only animals or only humans in "Classic Disney" (Mickey/Donald/Goofyverse) media, but that's personal taste
Based. That's right, people behave so strangely and as soon as they see something they don't like, they start screaming and getting angry, that is, hating from the bottom of their souls. They remind me of today's SJWs, liberals and feminists who are angry at everything they don't like. I wouldn’t be surprised if they hate Quack Pack too. Donald's nephews were not bad, their personalities were based on their traits in the original Ducktales, only with more differences and totally separate voices, which sounded just like their age. While this is actually the first time they’ve been totally different, I think their version deserves a second chance. And no, I don't see that they are imitation of the boys of the 1990s, only the outfits are different, but the features were ok. Realistically, I prefer more of them than Nu-Ducktales triplets which are very boring and sound awful. Their traits are not bad, but you have to put up with them to watch to see what would happen. If a Quack Pack reboot or something was made, I would leave a version of Donald's nephews from the original Quack Pack, with teenage voices, but I would also add comic book characters like Donald's cousins and Daisy's nieces April, May and June, where they would be different with different voices. That would make it easier to connect Donald and Daisy. As for Donald and Daisy I agree, they were great, although at times Daisy acted like a bitch and I didn’t like what Daisy was doing.
I agree that some episodes were bad, but I don’t agree that Donald was bad. He was great and I can tell you the best character in Quack Pack. His role was multidimensional and he had different characteristics where he behaved differently. Similar to the classic shorts, if you've seen it before maybe. He was the destroyer of the universe, he destroyed the navy, he had his first version, so as a baby, he quarreled with Kent, his cunning with which he defeats the villains, his family love for his nephews, his love for Daisy, etc. I don't see why he would be bad. In contrast, Donald barely appeared in Ducktales, and in Ducktales 2017 he is a second-rate character, whose sole purpose is to care for his family and love for Daisy. All his other qualities were thrown out. Not to mention how he is treated in the series. What I love about Donald in the reboot is his sailor work without a bow. If you want a better Donald, look at the Legend of the Three Caballeros, Donald is a great character there and there is much more focus on him than in DT17. For the nephews they are not right, although they were different they were great and unlike HDL in DT17, they are no matter how different, they all worked together. And the voices were great, much better than sounding adult or sounding quacking.
>behead all those who insult donaldism
>It's only average when compared to Goof Troop and every other animated Disney kidcom
And I wonder how it is that if Disney hadn’t made a crossover between Goof Troop and Quack Pack so far, it would be hilarious to look at. I would like to see the conflict between Donald, Goofy and Pete, as well as the meeting of the boys.
I prefer Brasilian Daisy. Fun fact: Daisy Duck is also a reporter in Brazilian comics.
Don’t forget that like Darkwing Duck and Goof Troop, Quack Pack also had great style and animation, totally realistic, like watching a great animated movie, not some animated series. And all thanks to Disney Australia.
>recent years
It's been hated for decades, user.
>They remind me of today's SJWs, liberals and feminists who are angry at everything they don't like.
Ah, yes, only leftists complain about "not muh".
Post YFW Ducktales will go to the typical Daisy tropes in her upcoming episode and this will reclaim its title of best Daisy iteration
I wouldn’t really say the Quack Pack Daisy is the best Daisy. Here's the proof:
>Daisy's nieces April, May and June, where they would be different with different voices
And I’m interested in what April, May and June would look like in the Quack Pack. Would it be like AMJ in Dutch comics or like AMJ in Lot3c, but as a teenage girl?
Maybe like this:
What does the chili pepper guy think of Quack Pack?
Probably hates it more than DT
You probably mean Don Rosa? He probably hasn’t even watched it, and he doesn’t like the newer duck-related merchandise, and the Quack Pack isn’t based on comics either, although it has elements of comics, so he doesn’t even care. I know that Don Rosa wrote for the Ducktales comics, that he likes the original Ducktales, but he doesn't like to associate his comics with the Ducktales. He prefers Barks ’comics, and has a negative opinion of Nu-Ducktales, saying that Nu-Ducktales bears no resemblance either to comics or links to comics, although he gave a positive rating to Nu-Scrooge.
I don't believe he hates more than Nu-Ducktales. He probably doesn't care.
That picture mixed up which niece is which.
Lizzy(single ponytail) is April.
Juultje(hairband) is May.
Babetje(pigtails) is June.
Meant to quote this:
Yes, I thought the author mixed up that drawing, thank you for correcting the mistakes.
