Should they redo this?

Too bad that doesn't mean shit for Hulk.
Juan Foster
I thought this as more like some of DC's current wishlist of ideas that may happen rather than a le epic foreshadowing.
Dylan Perry
They should just animate the fight sequence better. It actually looks unfinished in places, which is a shame since a fight between two of comics best known heavy hitter deserves better.
Brayden Cox
Yeah, I think people take the reference a bit too literally
Owen Allen
I love how this makes the DCfags seethe.
Angel Cooper
Next season is matches with history and I could see rematches be a part of that
Nathaniel Jenkins
Yes, but how does that change the intent? It's literally DC having Doomsday kneel to Hulk without Marvel even having any needed input.
Ian Baker
How you know they meant Marvel?
John Jenkins
>Secret Crisis
Figure it out.
Easton Bell
Even Damage is stronger than Doomsday. Superman said it himself.
James Gutierrez
Marvel doesn’t own secrets.
Isaiah Stewart
No shit, the whole point of the wording is to allude to Marvel without using anything they actually own wholesale. That's why they used Thor too.
Christian Walker
If Hulk keeps his current powers (absolute immortality, being able to use the powers of other personalities, gamma being magic) then I could see it being a genuine stalemate now.
But I'm pretty sure the next writer is going to just ignore what Ewing did and it will just be kept to Immortal Hulk.
Noah Long
Marvel is not the only one with a green behemoth and Thor
Brandon Smith
What can his other personalities do anyway?
Nathan Barnes
Stronger than Doomsday so beats Doomsday
Eli Morgan
Savage is immune to mind fuckery, King/World Breaker is the strongest, Devil seems to have the best grasp of The Below Place and the powers that come with it and Banner of course is the smartest. Poor Joe doesn't seem to have a real niche at the moment other than being likeable.
Isaiah Bell
Hulk is the obvious victor. Even Savage Hulk was triumphed over characters stronger than Doomsday, like Banger McCrusher and Galaxy Master. Unfortunately for him, Death Battle is just run by clowns who read respect threads instead of comics.
Lincoln Gutierrez
I hope secret crisis happens
We got the dc reference in thor not too long ago too
Dominic Jenkins
Hulk should have already won so yeah.
Leo Torres
Nuh-uh. They weren't referencing Hulk, they were clearly referring to the Green Giant. Next, you'll pull up a quote from Pak stating regular Hulk is stronger than Superdoom and think that means anything compared to my headcanon.
Ian Miller
Considering Superman > Hulk, according to Marvel itself it doesn't mean much.
Jaxon Gomez
that's not Immortal Hulk
Camden Carter
Savage is canonically stronger than Devil, so who cares?
Brayden Kelly
lol no
Angel Miller
Superman is the favorite over Doomsday, as well.
Carter Bailey
It was stated on panel multiple times, retard. Banner's mindscape is irrelevant.
Asher Morgan
Superman could not beat H/P Doomsday in a straight fight despite being amped and having a motherbox.
Ryder Lewis
I want them to redo Master Chief vs Doomguy. It's fucking horseshit that Doomguy lost and now that he's ascended to the Doom Slayer there is no excuse.
James Barnes
Just because one guy can trash another guy, doesn't mean that guy can't fuck up the dude who rivals him. They are all strong for different reasons. The matchup is more complex than just who has a high STR stat.
Julian Myers
That was early Death Battle. They got plenty of shit wrong. Chief can't even challenge Doomguy anymore.
Aaron Morgan
What about Samus vs Doom Slayer?
Carson Russell
>the matchup is more complex than just who has a high STR stat
Well, we know who's faster - Doomsday.
More durable - Doomsday.
More adaptable - Doomsday.
This is assuming we're using Hunter/Prey DD, of course.
Robert Sullivan
That's not an argument, retard. And Bruce's mind is still an actual dimension.
Jeremiah Rodriguez
Question, I don’t get how HP Doomsday isn’t canon Doomsday, if I remember right, HP Doomsday was sent forward in time but later someone else snagged him from there
Kevin Davis
Yeah, Imperix, I think.
Gabriel Bell
>comic outright says Savage is stronger
>That's not an argument
Lol.
>And Bruce's mind is still an actual dimension.
Double lol.
Nathaniel Turner
Superman long overcame the fear he had of Doomsday that was impairing in Hunter/Prey and besides, Jurgens said they would have been peers in power in the story if not for Superman's upbringing limiting him.
RC: Now, regarding Superman in Hunter/Prey, how do you account for Supermans abysmal performance against Doomsday?
DAN JURGENS: I always said that when it came down to a knock-down, drag-out, kick-ass fight, that Superman was always limited by his upbringing. In other words, if you take Superman and his upbringing, his moral code-the "governors" that put him in place to make him the decent human being that he is-and you take someone else who is raised, lets say on Apokolips, and they are one nasty, mean-ass sonuva . . . even if they only have 95 percent of Supermans power, they have the advantage in a drag-out fight to the death.
How many Superman stories did we read where he would be in a battle and it was presumed that he was going to die or lose or whatever, but somehow he outwits the opponent? It was never necessarily that he went absolutely nuts and beat him; and I think thats what Superman needs in those moments.
RC: With that in mind, the question is begged . . . if Superman didnt have to worry about other people and if he had cut loose in his first fight against Doomsday, would Superman have done better?
DAN JURGENS: Yeah.
RC: Which raises another question . . . were Superman and Doomsday roughly equivalent in terms of power in Hunter/Prey?
DAN JURGENS: Yeah. Yeah.
Oliver Johnson
I think he got cloned from HP Doomsday’s bones
Thomas Parker
Post your proof or kill yourself already.
Ian Perez
It was stated the Devil Hulk was vastly stronger than he previously was.
Nathaniel Perry
Even if DD is "only" equal to Superman, Clark is still > Hulk, so Doomsday still wins.
Joseph Price
Read the comic.
It was later stated in IH that Savage is stronger. And really, by feats he is MUCH STRONGER. Thor is Marvel's resident jobber. Beating him is not a feat.
