DARKWING THREAD
Spicy latina
Am I seriously the only one who enjoyed the episode? Yeah, the pacing was off as usual, and the chemistry between Darkwing, Launchpad and Gosalyn isn't the same as before, but nothing about it irked me.
Only for americans.
So much for representation when said minorities cant watch the episode where they are "represented" due to living in places outside US. Animation channels should allow everyone in the entire world to watch these episodes if they care about them so much.
How many episodes get released fully on youtube? I remember the first episode was - is it common?
Feels like they really are pushing for a spin-off or already have one confirmed and are trying to hype it up before an announcement.
Is this Ducktales reboot any good? Asking for a friend.
You already know the answer. And even if you weren't instigating, why not just watch it for yourself? The first episode is up on Youtube.
According to people with braincells, it sucks. They even ruined the Rescue Rangers.
Why do they hate gingers so much?
>Am I seriously the only one who enjoyed the episode
Apparently. Eeesh, discussion dropped off on this HARD.
what wrong with bushroot
Nah but I assume this is a back door pilot
His VA died
Hi Frank.
He seems to be more monster than anything I think they were trying to rip off swamp thing
Smells like backdoor pilot, but I liked it alot. Also FOWL actually appears and we finally get what their after. SO i'm a happy duckfag
Zombie.
Which doesn't make sense since Swamp Thing isn't bestial like that either.
>nothing about it irked me.
That's because you're fully engulfed in the ideology of the left. You're a lost cause.
>discussion dropped off on this HARD.
I hear discord is a safe place for you. Consider going there exclusively.
>I'm a happy duckfag
Oh you're a fag, alright.
The zombie/monster Bush root is a cool idea.
Cept that it really limits banter and motivations and sticks him as a perpetual second to other villains.
Did that add morgana? or are they bending the knee to faggot shippers
>politics
Debunked.
Not politics. Religion.
It's basically a pilot, so it just introduced Taurus Bulba and Goslyn as new characters.
And the Fearsome Four as subvillains
No drakepad I'd say
>That's because you're fully engulfed in the ideology of the left. You're a lost cause.
What does the left have to do with this episode specifically? Must everything be conflated with politics? I've stated numerous times that I think Marxism is cancer. Nor do I have a love for Angones, Youngberg or Disney in general. They might not outwardly peddle their nonsense in your comics or Lot3C, but it's from the same hand that feeds, is it not?
I'm two minutes in and I just realized that this is just a stealth darkwing duck pilot.
>What does the left have to do with this episode specifically?
The entire show is being critizied for changing the appearance and characteristics of the original characters to make them more "politically correct" or in other words more fitting towards the view of left politics. If they want to have a show that's reflecting their political views, that's fine, but they should not change already existing and beloved shows by rebooting them and thus symbolically replacing/overwriting them. This behavior shows that having "pc" content is not the main goal, but simply the means to erase content that is deemed supportive by right-wing views aka "politically incorrect".
They DO NOT want to coexist. That is the point of critic.
>Am I seriously the only one who enjoyed the episode
No, there was quite a good amount who enjoyed it
The original still exists. Nothing has been replaced.
There'd be no point in a reboot if changes weren't going to be made.
I liked the reference they made to "Just Us Justice ducks."
Part one was episode 19 but it was a two parter so referring to it as "episode 20" can slide on a technicality.
On top of that, I didn't think Gosalyn was as bad as people said. She very much realized later in the episode that, "I can't do this by myself. This isn't a tv show, it's real life."
No, the show is being criticized here because it's nothing like your shitty comics. Aside from a few "strong" female characters, fags and Mexicans, there's nothing blatantly leftist about the show. It's substantially more "traditional" than most of the freak shows you see nowadays. Of course, part of this is due to Disney being protective of their legacy characters; I'm sure if it wasn't for them, the infection would be a lot more severe.
Also, it's ironic that you mention the lack of co-existence, when Cabsfags have made it clear they want nothing of the sort, either.
I must have missed it, cause all I saw yesterday was an onslaught of shit-posting.
>The original still exists. Nothing has been replaced.
Is and always has been a bullshit defense.
That's the entire purpose of a reboot to overshadow what came before it.
Yeah, I suspect it's because Tino Insana's voice was so incredibly distinctive that it makes it difficult to properly recast Bushroot.
As far as I'm concerned, the reboot does overshadow the original, which hasn't aged well at all.
>which hasn't aged well at all.
Well that's just crazy talk.
How many kids still know that Nick Fury is actually a white character and not Samuel L. Jackson? Google Nick Fury and tell me the first 20 pics aren't a black man. They reboot everything with a pozzed bootleg version of the original for a reason and profit is not the main one.
Not at all. The characters are all set in stone; none of them do anything surprising, and a lot of them (namely Magica) are quite a bit more obnoxious than their reboot counterparts. The genuine adventuring is great and all, but it's literally all they do, and there's never any attempt to aim higher. The reboot does, albeit with mixed results -- but at least the attempt is made.
Yeah, I was afraid Gosalyn would irritate the shit out of me, but I actually liked her new depiction. Perhaps a little too competent, but... eh... it could've been a lot worse.
Watch LOTTC instead
>I must have missed it, cause all I saw yesterday was an onslaught of shit-posting.
I saw people saying they were into it, a ton of people saying they'd rather see this rebooted over DT season 4 and it could be a better show
Maybe it's just different viewpoints going in?
Tough Gosalyn and Drake can never bond as Father and Daughter because her Grandfather is still alive.
The exact 20th image is original one, but you''re right, the other 19 is SLJ.
Hell they can't have him just be black. They reshaped a Black Nick Fury TWICE to make him exactly like SLJ.
>The original still exists. Nothing has been replaced.
I bet that is the same argument for flooding white countries with 3x time the amount of people form the 3rd world.
