How is that pic related has so much soul when it's just Star walking down a single street, yet Owl House's outro is Luz walking through basically all of The Boiling Isles and it's so soulless?

The entire final execution of TOH is really bizarre to me, character movement is stilted, the pacing and flow of the action are off, they always have completely wide open eyes which is creepy but then the one character that doesn't also seems off, their irises usually point off into nowhere as opposed to whoever they're talking to, they have eerie blank expressions, don't react in natural ways etc.
Since we're on the topic of the outro, look at pic related as an example, it's supposed to be the heartwarming final shot where Eda greets Luz in the distance, but her expression doesn't convey anything, it looks like they forgot to animate an emotion. It would look off regardless of character, but in addition to that it also fails to convey Eda's strong personality, she's not someone who would blankly just wave at her adopted daughter.

At least Star vs. started with some soul before losing it. The Owl House barely has any soul. It's just high school but magic and with lesbian, yet they think their trying to make you cry at what's SUPPOSED to be emotional moments.
