Yeah that seems right. In a story I’m working on where some people have powers based on their personality there’s actually an alpha bitch character with mind control abilities. But she isn’t a villain since the MC has similar abilities, and they bond over that fact. funnily enough, one character actually ends up stuck as her servant for reasons completely unrelated to mind control
