>Is canonically still alive in MCU
When he is making his big screen return?
He committed some 10 years to being in a alt-canon show outside of the MCU.
It's what they call 'Going Dark'.
Forget Robert Downey Jr, Clark Gregg is the hardest working man in the MCU.
AoS ain't canon. He is dead in MCU.
user, OP said he was canonically still alive in the MCU. He wouldn't lie about that. People don't just go on the internet and tell LIES.
That... is a philosophical issue.
Is the LMD version of him Phil Coulson? Or is he a new person who is a lot like him?
>AoS ain't canon.
Just because the movie department head didn't like the series department head doesn't mean the TV shows aren't canon, user.
He already did in a Captain Marvel
That was in the 90s
>create several shows set in the same cinematic universe
>shows make sure to mention things from movies to connect better
>but no, some head claims they aren’t canon despite everything fitting
It just doesn’t make any sense to me. Hell they had a perfect opportunity in Endgame to have the tv show characters appear at that big battle to fully canonize it but they didn’t.
>canonically
He's still alive in AoS? I straight up gave up after Fitz got killed off in such a shitty manner and the implication that Coulson wasn't long for this world as well . I also felt that these capeshit shows were just dragging on forever getting nowhere and got bored of them.
They're recasting and rebooting Mockingbird for the Hawkeye show, AoS ain't canon
For some reason people always forget during these canon discussions that James D'Arcy's Jarvis from the Agent Carter show was in fucking Endgame.
So AC is canon to the movies, therefor AoS is canon and every other show that has references to AoS, The Netflix shows, Runaways/C&D, even Inhumans (unfortunately) is canon.
Fitz didn’t die. Well he did but due to time travel there was a spare of him on ice in space. He’s fine now.
He's not, he died in AoS and was replaced by an lmd
Yeah no, I was too emotionally invested in his growth that I knee jerk reaction and flat out quit, even this information isn't enough to placate me into going back.
So, you're suffering from... fitz of stubbornness?
there's basically one 26 episode season after that one (season 6 and 7 are 13 eps each)
the first half (6) is the only part of AoS I actually hate, and breaks with the MCU timeline
the second half (7) is a lot of fun but honestly it probably should have ended at season 5 and Fitz is missing from season 7 except the last two episodes
so basically you have 13 shit episodes with a stupid arc that also breaks with the MCU and has a contrived reason for Clark Gregg to be there
then 13 fun episodes but at a price, and another contrived reason for Clark Gregg to be there
Graviton and Coulson's death make season 5 a better show ending.
Even with Fitz dying, Simmons says there's a time copy of him they'll go find. We don't get to see it but it's pretty clear they'll find him.
Deke get off Zig Forums
Partially that and as I previously stated here, I'm tired of capeshit shows dragging on. I've got a personal thing where around 3 or 4 seasons (assuming 20~ episodes per season) if the show is still going on and basically feels like it's lost sight of the original premise, I just fuck off and quit.
>>Is canonically still alive in MCU
Is he though? I liked AoS and I love me some Coulson, but I thought the non-DisneyPlus shows have been scrubbed from canon?
user, he's dead. The show you watched were full of Skrulls. That's why they ain't canon.
>every new actor means a new universe
Sometimes people get recast. It doesn’t break continuity
Marvel Studio broke away from Marvel Entertainment because they didn't want to depend on their creative decisions and all those shows were made by Entertainment.
Feige was involved with the initial set up of Agent Carter which is why it still gets referenced while everything else was ignored.
I remember hearing rumors that Inhumans were going to be retconned, so I suppose they weren't real?
Agent Carter could be the exception. MCU made no attempt whatsoever at linking the majority of the TV Shows to the movies, not even an offhand references, not even an easter egg to my knowledge.
Not that I don't like the idea of the TV characters appearing in the MCU but who knows?
Multiversal SHIELD / SWORD Director
Look, user is retarded and can't think 4-dimensionally. Go easy on him.
Aka "blacked"
I forgot this guy existed, he was a fan favorite for a while right?
>Agent Carter could be the exception.
Agent Sousa was in AoS rather heavily.
I really would have liked Peggy in at least one of the time-travel episodes, but I guess they couldn't afford her.
