The internet used to have its own forums and support groups for cranks back in the day, and it's not like there weren't other people who didn't believe in fossils. Jack Chick also did a comic about it.

It's just that in those days, if a random whacko made a web page, nobody would promote his ideas and they were treated like wackos, so it still felt fringe and hidden.

Huh, another one of these. I've only ever seen the OP comic and assumed the rest were wiped from the internet, like shredded moose.

The thing about this one is that the conservatives are always mad because she got an abortion, but through her work she makes it abundantly clear she's a fucking mess of a person. Her relationships with other people are bad, she hates herself, and I think I recall reading she has or had a drug problem, or at least a history with it.

She's impulsive and self-cenetered and trying to use this comic to soothe herself in her own broken way, and while I think it's in poor taste to try to turn it into comedy, and abortion was the right choice for this lady.

Imagine the kid. Imagine a little two year-old, wide-eyed and still surprised by something as innocent as the first snow, and this lady is yelling at that kid, maybe hitting them. Getting high and forgetting about them.

I don't get the point, is the Thing supposed to represent somebody?

I feel like any television show or comic that namedrops Zig Forums is secretly the author doing something like this and it infuriates me. The new "Evil" show on Netflix , Law and Order, and Family Guy have done it

Nevermind, my intuition was right. Crowdfunded a comicsgate title, it was horseshit, now he keeps trying to get views and subs on his christian youtube podcast.
On the bright side, it was fun to track down how his views kept catching up to him and how CG was no good for anyone. Also that time he redrew a cover from a dead artist including fake signature. What a sad sucker.
