Are the people who make these as an "improvement" autists who can't understand cartoons or Twitter users who are bothered by finding them too attractive?

Terrifying
Terrifying
Absolute nightmare

I don't think they do it as an improvement, I think they do it just to see how it looks. Like that guy who made that photo-realistic algorithm for cartoon characters.

Maybe if she has a birth defect.
Rule of thumb is one eye width apart.

Last one I'll post in this thread unless people want me to spam more.

This isn't Disney, this is if Filmation was still in business.

Dang whats her number?

Disney definitely has a sameface problem especially among their female protagonists, I don’t think de-cartoonifying them is the answer tho desu

These are posted from two different sources. And here's a third one.

It isn't necessary, fun, or accurate to how the characters are meant to look outside of their actual exaggerated designs. It's clearly putting butterface where butterface doesn't belong. It's a bad interpretation regardless of "realism."

While not as big as the CG model, 2D Jasmine still had very big eyes.

Decent but, the tail is too short.

It's called the uncanny valley for a reason. Disney probably spent thousands researching just how to make the most appealing character designs. It's not that they didn't know how to proportion a character correctly. It's that they knew it was a dumb idea.

this is the only good one, the rest are extremely uncanny valley

They need to fuck off. If you want real then make a live action show.

This is why 2D>3DPD.
