Anyone else listening to Flashgitz's podcast? I kind of wish they talked more about animating or their cartoons, but they keep shooting down Don when he tries talking about it.

He's put all his eggs in the Game Grumps basket.

Honestly, years down the line now? They're not good. The animation is nothing to write home about, and speaking of writing, ir isn't funny, at all. I guess it'd have been interesting to see if he'd have evolved if he'd kept it up, but he just seems like the same kind of guy with the same kind of obnoxious shouty-yelly funny word humour, so who fucking knows.
Either way, there's been better animators since, so ultimately it doesn't matter.

I will say though that I'm acquaintances with a fair amount of people working in animation who seem to think he's hillarious and talented, so I dunno, maybe there is something there to appreciate and I'm just not seeing it.

Arin is a much better straight man with occasional goofy moments. Too much Arin goofiness is irritating.

I feel like that's less true now. He's a lot more impatient when Arin continually messes up and advocates walkthroughs when the progress slows down. Dan calls him out in a more 'disapointed parent' manner, usually.

Currently watching the TP one as background noise and Dan gets on Arin's case a bit more. Also when Arin when full SJW on an American Pie scene Dan described, Dan went "Have you watched it?" ..no bu- "Well how about you watch it before criticizing, mkay?"

I really fucking hope Dan keeps him in check for the Danganronpa playthrough once things start getting serious. The "ha ha i voice every girl exactly the same" bit has been annoying since it started and it's especially bad in a game with multiple female characters who all have heavy dialogue.
