STARGIRL Adds Nick Tarabay As Eclipso & Jonathan Cake As The Shade For Season 2

>Nick Tarabay ("The Expanse") will play the series regular role of Eclipso, an ancient entity of corruption and vengeance trapped inside a black diamond once owned by the Injustice Society of America and stolen by Shiv (Meg DeLacy), which will result in problems for Stargirl and the JSA going forward. Brimming with a cold, terrifying darkness, Eclipso exploits the flaws of others, reveling in the impure and sinful, sadistically feeding off the dark side of humanity.

>Jonathan Cake ("The Affair") will recur as Jonathan Swift, also known as "The Shade", an immortal Englishman who wields magical shadow powers. Tall and slim, with elegant 19th century speech and manners, he masks the horrors he’s experienced and people he’s lost in all the time alive with wry, witty retorts and a false sense that nothing really matters.

Cousin to Nu!Wildcat?

>Remembers Stargirl from JLU
What are her abilities again?

Oh god.. what did they do to Ted Grant? Is he black? Trans?

Having the cosmic rod and cosmic converter belt

I don't think the show has the belt tho

The rod, which she holds firmly in her hand(s), lets her fly yeah?

What did the belt do again? Give her super strength?

Before you start again, Yolanda first appeared in 1984 and became Wildcat within two years and Beth is from 1985

Yeah and increased and speed agility and "shooting stars"

read a comic

Oooh okay. That's fine. I was just thinking they'd done something to Ted Grant.
Whew.
Idk why but like I look at her there and ya mention the 80s and its like.. okay but.. now if they were made I'd probably see them as more 'diversity' quotas.

I'd want to get my hands on some nth metal to go with that belt.

>They've not made characters gay, black, or trans out of anywhere.

Alan Scott. Bobby Drake.

Larry too

Negative Man?

Yes

>every brown character is new woke shit because i've never read a comic in my life and only watch live action capeshit

ted's still white, the show is using the yolanda version of wildcat

People don't even know Yolanda or Beth not that I blame them since they both have been dead longer than they have been alive with Cereal Lord recently reviving them with Doomsday Clock.

Cool cool.

>Now tell me about Dr. Mid-Nite

Beth is from 1985 and is technically the second Dr Midnite but spelled it Midnight and was teased with Rick Tyler Hourman
She was also blind

Thanks, fren.

Cute.

>no pics of stargirls ass
you guys are slacking

I liked Nick Tarabay in The Expanse. I think he could pull off Eclipso.

I thought Eclipso was just a being that possessed people. Actually making him a person is gay AF cause you know they'll make him a substitute teacher or some bullshit.

season 2 needs more brec feet

How would that be different from him just possessing one?

I mean that’s genuinely how it works, he needs a host body to enact the Wrath of God.
