Allow the characters to age even if slowly and let go of status quo so you have new scenarios to make jokes about. It's not perfect but there. If the characters age and their circumstances change at least there are new humorous possibilities you don't have to repeat the same lol bart in elementary school plots and jokes five thousand times. You could have humor about him growing up or his personalities changing a bit as he grows without having to do a one-off future oneshot that doesn't allow you to develop the same kind of sustained character based humor.

Every episode is a gore-fest until Fox pulls the show off the air for me.

Bring the characters back to what they were originally instead of being caricatures of themselves. You need to wipe out the last 30 seasons imo. Have Homer as the angry, somewhat dimwitted boomer dad, Marge as the naive but lovable mother figure, Bart as the dennis the menace figure and way less neurotic, and bring Lisa back to form before the vegetarian episode as someone who was relatively bright and could correct Homer, but was also a kid and not a mouthpiece. Which means she could sometimes take part in the mischief.
At this point I would probably forbid any of the staff from taking any political shots and tell them to keep it purely on the 'this could be my neighborhood!' angle. Once things have been brought back to form, then we can think about taking a few risks and forays into uncharted territory.

A character will start talking gibberish - complete nonsense, weird sounds, screams and mumbling, but other characters will react as normal. That character will keep talking crazy for ever.
Each new episode will make yet another character talk gibberish. Sooner or later most of the cast will be like this and the episodes, which still have their plots and dialogue planned out, will turn into an incoherent mess.

That could be really funny, honestly.

Hire different animators to do whatever they want with the characters, like the couch gags but for full episodes.

that's only one step beyond the problem with nu-Simpsons. It's like they don't know how to make a scene anymore- a character will come in, start yakking and everyone just stands there smiling, waiting for their turn.
Doesn't matter what is being said, they just stand there dead-eyed.

Experiment more in animation, and trying to do minimal breaks in the status quo, closing arcs permanently and letting the characters age slightly more

Kill the entire cast.

Actually write the main family as nice, friendly people. They don't have to be perfect characters but they at least have to be someone we can root for, not the weird mean spirited characters they've evolved into.
Show them overcoming actual obstacles too

Age the characters, albeit slowly but steadily over time
Bart's been what 10 for almost 700 episodes now? He could move up a grade now

There's also a whole treasure trove off one-one characters they could bring back to write new stuff with, i.e. Laura Powers

Give it a proper animation budget again. Only hire writers over 40 because people born after 1980 are not fucking funny.

Fire the voice actors, hire new ones that sound like the Season 1 versions (expressive non-monotone Bart, less expressive more suave Marge, The Odd Couple Homer, etc.), use Season 21-23 as a reference for keeping the show modern, and use the extra money from the voice actors to put into the animation budget, allowing for more angles than the GoAnimate animation we've come to know and love in The Simpsons' past few seasons.

Bart is shot 36 times in the chest at age 22 during a hockey game he didn't even attend. Lisa kills herself at age 27 with 2 bullets to back of her head but the government,realizing her potential,revives her as a cyborg codenamed:Black the Ripper. Shenanigans ensue as the soul of Lisa posses her brother's corpse and seeks vengeance upon the Cyborg. Bart's soul wanders the earth forever gay as fuck. Grandpa get ipad.
