The rugrats had a spinoff about their teenage years

>the rugrats had a spinoff about their teenage years

Why isnt this a bigger deal? Its just been forgotten in time

>main appeal of the show and characters was that they were babies/young
>age them up and expect that specific charm to still stick
No, it was forgotten because it sucked

People were already tired of the Rugrats. And tween cartoons were a dime a dozen back then. This was a pretty shitty one at that.

>Teenage years
They were 11 to 12 years old, but the show treated them as if they were 16 or 17.

Did they ever do a drug or sex episode?

No, because the writers were a bunch a cowards.

Well there you have it, OP. The only thing that could've made it somewhat memorable and they couldn't even do that. We still talk to Brace Face and the titty episode after all.

I enjoyed all grown up!
It broght more depth to the characters!
The Simpsons should do the same thing!

No, but they could have eventualy!

Because it was shit and reeked of desperation by out of touch suits.

the only cool thing was watching the kids FINALLY talk to their parents and other grown ups. im depressed about what happened to Angelica's parents though

It just wasn't that interesting as a show. The originals big appeal was babies using their imagination to tell any type of story they wanted.
The finale of the OG was a nifty look forward. But it just didn't hold up as a full show.

>Dill is the only baby who can't talk in Rugrats
>He's autistic in All Grown Up
Hmmmmm

why were they 10 but they delt with issues more fitting for 18 year olds

And Spongebob blew it out of the water

Tommy fucked Kimi!

>He's autistic in All Grown Up
are you using that term loosely again, or was he really?

Everyone but Angelica and Phil were out of character. Everyone else was just an asshole or just edgy.

He was dropped on his head by Phil and Lil.

Besides crushes and the like i don't remember much conflict of that nature. I remember Kimmy dating some punk with green hair as if it was 1997. It really felt like that Disney Channel interpretation of adolescence.

Because it fucking sucked, every single show ever produced by klapstky stupico fucking sucked.

Yes and she and Angelica gave him a footjob. We've all seen that comic.

They ruined Tommy.

He was pretty autistic. It was stablished that he was "the weird kid" who made weird gadgets and inventions and had trouble socializing.

I don't remember that redhead bastard. Wasn't he a bully?

>watch imaginary friend episode
>everyone middle schooler believes Dil's imaginary friend is real and shuns Chuckie for doubting him
>no one points out how stupid this is and Chuckie begs Dil for forgiveness at the end
This show was stupid.

It's a metaphor for trannies.

No harold was angelica's sort of lackey who had a crush on her and would dote on her.

>kimmy with tommy
>Angelica with Chickles and then with Suzy
just bad overall

>klapstky stupico
Kek

It's weird how Susie had three different character designs.

It wasn't a very memorable show once the "Rugrats but grown up" novelty wore off. Should've stayed a special.

For some reason they used to do thay with black female characters
