Love how the perspective occasionally switches to the news ( everytime the Sea 9 logo appears on screen )

>"Can we switch sides ? I could be the Fishslayer. They'll never see it coming"
I don't get that joke. People always laugh at it when i show them the film, but i don't get it

Notice how Oscar pushes the soap bubble of his way. Didn't catch that detail until recently.

Overall, this sequence is a clever way to introduce this whale trapping mechanism, which plays a role in the climax. It also shows how a normal day in Oscar's life is like. More Zig Forums films should do this

Meanwhile, back to the comedy masterpiece ( according to Twitter, Schaffrillas and Doug Walker ) known as Shrek 2

It's annoying how people compare the worldbuilding of ST with the Shrek films. They're not the same.

Shrek films, especially the second one, take heavy cues from Aladdin and Hercules, whereas ST is more inspired by Osmosis Jones ( Robots is another film to use this approach, and Zootopia or Sing could fit as well )

Man, i love how expressive these characters are. Even the most mundane lines are memorable because of the voice acting and especially because the hand gestures, winks and facial expressions. This is what i look forward to see in an animation film.

>I'm his manager : Sykes, with a Y
See what i mean ? That typing gesture he does adds to the line.

Notice the eyebrow gesture Sykes gives to the media at the end. It adds personality to the character
