If rwby was rebooted, and you were chosen as lead writer, how would you fix the show?

Still not going to watch your clickbait videos but it probably has something to do with their contracts with AT&T, and more recently Warner Media moving more and more of their programming, including RT future productions, onto their owned networks creating a closed consumption ecosystem - such as HBO

Whoever has the most experience with over the top anime stuff for v1-3 and can tell a decent story. I would like Gennedy to do it since he has still works for warner. If not an A studio with experience in 3dcg.

Probably retool the Faunus subplot entirely, remove some extraneous arcs/plotlines (mainly Jaune related ones from the early seasons), using the extra time to give the main four more gradual development. That's just off the top of my head.
Also, have Yang and Neo hook up with my self-insert.

Aren't they getting folded into CN or something, probably removed so they can have it on whatever Subscribed Streaming Service that has, youtube gives bux, but they probably want BIGGER bux, and having the episodes available for free on Youtube is detrimental to that.

=Slim the cast down severely after v3- at most keeping RWBY and one of JNR. For Main Villains, just keep it to Salem, Emerald, Mercury, Cinder, Torchwick, and Watts.

=Dump the entire "Wizard-brain transfer" bullshit, just have Oz have been originally from some sort of long secret society formed by Ozmas to protect the relics.

=Have the Relics randomly teleport every 100 years instead of just having them be in vaults.

=Rewrite Blake to not run away all the fucking time and actually learn her lesson in that cat-tuna shitty kitty brain of hers.

Firstly, i would try and fix the characterisation. I would write yang as a fun party girl who goes with the flow. Weiss as a racist towards faunus, but caring towards her friends. Ruby as a weapons expert and genki girl. Blake as an quiet but loyal cat girl.

I forgot to mention, remove the faunus race subplot. It is an island subplot, too disconnected from the main story. Yang's distrust of Oz comes from something besides Birds, rewriting v5, Oscar no longer exists. Gonna needs some nonprimary relation interactions.

The reason why i would write weiss as a weiss supremacist, is so that her relationship with blake would be more interesting. Blake is her firend, but Blake is aslo a faunus. Maybe ill write weiss so that she gets saved from near death by a faunus. Probably blake. This would cause her to change her perspective on the faunus, and cause her to be more likable. I would just cause more conflicts in the rwby team so that when they finally work together as a team, it would be more satisfying.

Ryan voiced a single character who spoke in a handful of episodes way back in the first and second seasons. In addition, those opening seasons predate his work as a sex predator and that combined with how minor his character was probably means they're not touching it at all. They didn't redub Vic and however hostile they are toward Ryan now there's no evidence they're gonna do it for his character either.
