I'm not even sure how I can, to be honest. What is there to hate? It's a boring webcomic show about boring webcomic roommates doing boring webcomic stuff. There is no premise, it's just three bears that do whatever random thing the writers can pull out of their ass for the week. One week Grizz is Nom-Nom's security animal, the next week Ice Bear is fighting a supervillain, and then the week after the bears are meeting some k-pop boy band. On that note, why does Korea like this show so much? I get Japan with Disney, I get America with Cowboy Bebop (and TPGW to a lesser extent), but Korea with WBB makes no sense at all. What are they latching onto? Is Korean culture so boring that this seems amazing by comparison? I just don't get it! It's their fault there's a movie, and a babies spin-off. I just realized why I hate this show so much, it has all this success DESPITE being so mind-numbingly dull. I hate it because it refuses to die no matter how obvious it gets that the writers have no ideas.
I just realized I hate this show with a burning passion

because it's the typical modern webcomic, you literally answered your own question.
as for why it won't die despite doing poorly in the states, it's because of the asians.
>as for why it won't die
But I thought WBB ended like 2 years ago. Or are you referring to it's following?
counterargument: the bears are fuckable
Why was almost every male a bad guy in this show, but zero women villains?
Women can't be evil, and its sexist for you to imply that it's even possible.
Female are too low iq for schemes
The show was dull and boring, sure, but I don't see why that necessarily has to be a demerit.
>Why was almost every male a bad guy in this show
You phrased this wrong. Every bad guy was a male, but not every male was a bad guy.
There were plenty of friendly male characters, like Charlie, the human bears.
And I haven't seen every episode, but I remember at least one woman villain. She was a business woman that tricked Griz into starring in a racist movie about bears.
>Griz
its relaxing and inoffensive
i am happy as long as im being mildly amused
nothing wrong with it
>The Virgin We Bare Bears
>The Chad Clarence
Based and Clarencepilled. I love Clarence. Not only was it just a fantastic fun show to watch, it kinda felt nostalgic in a sense,
Popular in East because anthro animals are extremely marketable and the meme problems are so nebulous they could be applied to any race or culture. Cute is in style. It's clean cut and inoffensive. Don't think any edgefest or politically charged or otherwise Western valued show like your examples would work over there
Bears just ended this year with the movie, a spin-off about baby bears is incoming
it ain't ogre
Has anyone mentioned yet that it is literally a rip off of some random anime?
Considering you didn't bring up the name, I doubt that's important.
I only watch it for Chloe.
I got my boomer father thinking this show is about three gay "bears" that live in LA. He's got a bunch of his coworkers boycotting adult swim at the moment.
Am I supposed to believe the movie wasn't politically charged to some extent??
I want to know what the anime is
Same. She's the best character in the whole show and it sucks that she didn't get a bit more screen time or wasn't the fourth protagonist.
Based. Chloe is the only character worth it
>>There is no premise, it's just three bears that do whatever random thing...
That's all to it. It's a cute show with cute characters doing cute things. Koreans like the animated fluff.
yes
It's not a bad show, it just doesn't have the bite of all the Cartoon Network originals before it
I find the subtle pro intrusive government vibes distasteful. But at least it never had a full on propaganda bullshit episode like OKKO.
>Korea with WBB makes no sense at all
East Asians like cute things and you'd probably like comfy shows if your next door neighbors were nuke wielding basketcases
It takes place in frisco, whatcha expect?
>if your next door neighbors were nuke wielding basketcases
I'm Canadian and they are.
>why does Korea like this show so much
their designs are simple and easy to make merch of. Japan already has Rillakuma and such, so korea decided to jump on it and they succeeded. good on them, i got me a grizz pillow too from miniso
Hey neighbor, you're not wrong. Its getting pretty bad here, man.

I disagree. It's one of the few shows on Cartoon Network that doesn't make me cringe. You're welcome to your opinion though.
