The story is nothing but a Captain Marvel knock off
>Darkseid forces=Skrull
>New Genesis forces=Kree
>Orion=Thor+Mar-Vell
>The Source=Eon
New Gods suck
Good for you user. Did you make your bed today? Get some sun? I hope youre taking care of yourself
Okay. Now do the rest of them. Where are the Forever People analogue? What about the Female Furies? Big Barda and Mister Miracle? Also the source and eon are not even close
They had potential but DC killed it like a lot of their characters
I think they are the new Hawkman
>Forever People analogue? What about the Female Furies? Big Barda and Mister Miracle?
Irrelevant characters
and?
And Thanos is literally a rip-off of Darkseid.
Your point, OP?
It's an unoriginal piece of garbage
Oh man, it's almost like both ideas were originally developed by Jack Kirby! But lets disregard any new ideas later added.
OP what the fuck are you talking about?
>it's almost like both ideas were originally developed by Jack Kirby!
It wasn't, Stan Lee and Gene Colan created Captain Marvel
>Kree, Skrull, Thor
All written by Lee and it doesn't change the fact that that he ripped off the plot of Captain Marvel.
Nice try, OP
Sorry but the "New Aliens" is not but rip off that lasted 12 issues
To be fair it's not as if the Kree are wholeheartedly good like the Eternals of New Genesis. Our first mention of the Kree came from a Kree Sentry, more specifically Sentry-459, who was left on Earth by the Kree to watch over the Inhumans (a recon by Mark Gruenwald in the pages of What If?) in the original Lee/Kirby comic, 459 laid dormant in some island in Pacific and was woken by Daniel Damian (seen again in the Eternals) when he trespassed into a Kree outpost. Notice the word outpost because in Kirby's original margin notes, he was hinting the Inhumans were created to establish trade with the locals humans. Their further tampering with Genetic Rays, later named Terrigen Mist is what lead them to be labeled by the other humans as Inhuamns because they messed with their genetic makeup. Something similar happens in Black Panther when Wakanda first found Vibranium. It's in the Thor backups that the Inhumans are connected with the Kree. In the Fantastic Four it was the Seeker who tells them of the Vari-genes technology that created the Inhuman race. The Kree Sentry's talk of Kree master made them sound more like the Celestials from the Eternals. In fact, Ronan never directly says he's an actually Kree. He speaks of them as if he's only working for the Supreme Intelligence. Future writers took these scenes as Ronan referring to the Kree (his race) in a third person. We don't get an actual face on the Kree race until Captain Marvel and by then the character was taken out of Kirby's hand like the Silver Surfer was. Medusa was the proto-Eternal, an advance alien being confused to be an actual god of antiquity as seen in here backstory during the Frightful Four arc which later gave way to Gorgon's appearance, yet another character from Greek myth. Lee was told by Goodman that their plans for expanding their comic line were not going forward so Kirby put his ideas of Black Bolt, Inhumans and Black Panther, then Coal Tiger, into the FF.
Sorry but your act is old and busted, OP
It was old and busted back when you used to post under the name The People
>used to post under the name The People
Heh? The fuck you are talking about?
Don't lie, OP
You are delusional
people only remember darkseid from this you are correct
Fuck off, OP
Enjoy your "New Knock offs"
>imagine getting plebfiltered
>muh mahvel method
""""""""""""written""""""""""""
Still made superior comics.
This post being ignored goes to show how we rather spend our time shit posting on Mongolian basketweaving image boards than talk actual comic books
More like The Sheeple, kek
First, wall of text without break.
Second, nothing to discuss, since it is just a recaption or history part.
True. I didn't put breaks cause it took up the post limit. I actually wanted to dive deeper into the ideas Kirby might have been trying to convey. I don't know what you all want to talk about. It's fascinating to me how Kirby throughout his career is hinting at a larger story.
