Is Jason inmortal or a deadite..?
Horrorverse
Ju...?
Deadite fits Jason the best, since the rules aren't as cement as zombies
>immortal
No, he technically dies in Jason X in space. Uber Jason can be consider another creature entirely.
I prefer the idea of him being his own unique category, or if anything else he'd be a Revenant.
What's a revenent?
Revenants are like ghosts that keep coming back until they've accomplished a very important thing they left unaccomlished in life
Just a being of rage and revenge. Doomguy would probably fit into this catagory as well.
Any important revenant?
Personal theory is two Jasons Senior and junior. When Jason gets that age gap, that's the dad who dies. Then Jason Jr is the one who becomes a zombie
>Jason vs Freddy vs Ash
It's a shame that the Friday the 13th franchise is stuck in limbo due to the lawsuit that for some reason still hasn't been fucking settled or resolved.
There's The gsme at least
You mean in fiction that are recognizable? Off the top of my head, the Crow, Scorpion from mortal kombat. the word Revenant isn't used but they fit the definition better. Deadites are demons possessing an object or living person in some way usually.
The game was shut down precisely because of the lawsuit. We were about to get Jason X content and everything, but then they legally could no longer keep the servers up and it's dead.
WHAT?
Its like a ghost but they have physical bodies, and no matter how many times you kill them they always come back.
You need to either put their souls at peace or destroy their bodies in a very specific way for them to not bother you again.
The lawsuit only has to do with the orinigal movie, they could still make another Jason Voorhees movie, as long as they leave out Camp Crystal Lake and Jason's mother Pamela.
IT'S like eating a doritos without soda
They should just do a crossover.
Well Jason mother actress is dead, and nobody owns the hockey mask since it wasn't in the original or even the sequel.
I was wondering why there hadn't been a new movie since 2009.
As long as you have a giant man wearing a hockey mask that kills people with a machete, does it matter if it takes place at a certain camp or mentions a long dead character by name?
They're part of Jason origin
Jason origin doesn't make sense. The movie where he fights the psychic girl says he drowned way earlier than the first movie. Also in Jason takes Manhattan the lake apparently goes into the ocean.
Are they?
It's never officially stated whether it's Jason in the water at the end of Part 1, meaning that it might not be the same character in Part 2 and beyond.
My theory is that Crystal Lake really does have a death curse and it empowers people tied to it violently with regeneration, teleporting, etc.
Pamela got some of that but still had most of her humanity, but was pretty much insane with vengeance thinking Jason had drowned as a boy but was with her the whole time in their shack. When she died, the curse took hold of Jason who got a huge power boost from being retarded.
We saw what happened to Roy, and Tommy managed to resist the same inclinations but was manipulated into resurrecting Jason into a zombie woho by this point is the perfect vessel for the curse.
Yeah, it's a knock-off of the Thorn cult but the whole series is a Halloween ripoff anyway.
crystal lake is where jason voorhees born , pamela voorhees obviously the mother of jason and she plays a big role on the legendary slasher born
A team of horror protagonists that fight against the Horrors (that could be the term for all the monsters and killers) I think should include the following.
>Ash Williams
>Ellen Ripley
>Herbert West
>Cherry Darling (Planet Terror)
>Ruka (Tokyo Gore Police)
>Andre Tulon and his puppets
>Anton Modrid (Doctor Mordrid)
>Toxie (Toxic Avenger)
>Brick Bardo (Dollman)
>Jet Jaguar (Godzilla)
That'd be like having a giant ape being killed off a large building and no skull island but expecting people to still like is as King Kong.
What's freddy without The gloves..?
Well he went to Hell and came back. I feel like in whatever version of Hell he went to, that version of the Devil saw a soul already so driven and absorbed by its own torment that he just signed off on letting it wander endlessly and suffer while it spread suffering in turn.
It's like the Satan equivalent of a fisherman throwing a fish back into the lake because it's too fine a specimen to eat.
When the game was no holds barred and the survivors could kill each other and really fuck each other over it was legitimately incredible. Being able to larp as chad and let the nerds fix the car and then beat them to death and escape with bugsy was kino. Situations where there simply were not enough seats and too many asses having a real possibility of violence was so fun. They listened to reddit snd took out the things that made that game insane.
