If you want to be an outspoken atheist, by all means do it. Be someone who's always up for a debate, always has the facts at hand, and is willing to concede points, like Hitchens or Dawkins or Harris or any of the other famous atheists. If you want, you can do comedy that touches upon it. But you can't make a career out of just saying "I'm smarter than most people because I'm an atheist. Yeah, now get offended." It's more than obnoxious and it paints every atheist in a terrible light.

I've grown to hate the bastard ever since "the Invention of Lying". I've never seen a movie jerk off an actor as hard as that movie did, it was literally just 90 minutes of him believing he's the smartest person in the world and that he has the whole world under his thumb. It was painful to watch, especially knowing that's how he truly sees himself.

He loves nothing more than jumping into arguments that has nothing to do with him and always take the side of the one he considers morally superior without ever bothering with facts. He is what you would call a proto-SJW through and through, because everything he does comes from an insincere place and is manufactured to gain the maximum amount of clout and brownie points.
