How would the Justice League fare against Twin Peaks?
How would the Justice League fare against Twin Peaks?
Both job to Batkek.
>Batkek
>literally only a planetbuster
How pathetic.
>the entirety of Justice League is a metaphor for reading comics
I blame that more on the artist, Snyder, or Tynion being woefully uncreative when it comes to big cosmic fights. It's still obvious in intent that Batkek was going to end the most powerful multiverse in existence.
He wasn't. There's no indication anywhere that Batkek or Perpetua could end the entire multiverse by their fight.
It's literally just them tossing planet's and suns at each other. There's no deeper or more complex cosmic scale going on behind it.
Mate, Snyder's main thing is that he comes up with all these big and grandeur cosmic ideas. A third monitor, a mother of monitors, a dark multiverse, all that stuff. The problem is that, in execution, he basically makes it look weaker by comparison by lowballing some stuff.
Her tits are gonna fall off at any moment
>Mate, Snyder's main thing is that he comes up with all these big and grandeur cosmic ideas.
And he always shit's the bed. It's not my fault he makes the characters into low-tier jobbers.
Hell, this was the case even before Death Metal. Reminder that Perpetua, despite being nearly at full power, has to take a nappy-poo between destroying single universes due to how much it exhausts her. She destroys them so slowly in Death Metal that eight are left by the start (out of 52) and an actual resistance has been formed against her well before then.
Very Lynchian.
I'd say it's a situation where Snyder's a retard.
In his mind, he thinks Batkek is the indestructible giga-villain, who's very presence shakes both your monitor and the multiverse itself.
In showing, however, he juts makes him do some stuff Darkseid does every thursday but also makes other characters job to him.
I'd also like to point out that Batkekhattan's greatest personal feat is making 52 universes. That's it. We don't even know what they're like or if they share the structure of the main 52 because he immediately eats them after this. All of the wank about Batkek's powerlevels (that hes infinitely multiversal, can kill meta-characters, is stronger than the Presence, etc) immediately got torn apart in a single page even before OH MY CREAM P(IES)LANETS.
It's the same wank people gave Thought Robot, but even worse because Snyder retroactively downgrades the entire setting with his garbage.
If even half of what I've heard about Twin Peaks is true, Batkek and the League lose.
They'd have better luck against a Xianxia Chinaman.
Implying they haven't.
Snyder always lowballs his shit. His most impressive villain was Barbatos, and he made him into the pet for one of OCpetua's dumb children.
They die.
What would a comic made by Lynch look like anyway?
They'd call in Justice League Dark
Justice league would lose, but the doom patrol could probably figure things out
Welp, Zatanna's dead.
The Doom Patrol would likely figure out the town easily enough and realize that the threat of the Black Lodge is relatively minor so long as you don't go poking it like Windom or Cooper.
The League would escalate and get themselves killed.
All would job to Superman
Superman would get shrekt by the Green Ring.
>Call the Doom Patrol. They deal with stuff like that all the time. We are leaving.
This reminds me of that Naruto meme.
Constantine too.
No they wouldn’t. Supes powers are all physical. The Lodge are reality warpers, they’d crush Supes. Supes would fare better than the rest of the League given his experience with Mxy though.
Dr Fate is the only one I'd give decent odds against the Lodge. And that's assuming Nabu doesn't go full retard.
Moeshit is moeshit, no matter the guise. CHADren could defeat her, just like he could beat everyone in DC and Marvel.
