She thinks they're all losers, because she's insecure and lonely. Once she actually spends time with the gang and gets to know them she'd probably actually fall for peepers because the height dynamic would look good, peepers motivation would attract her and we'd get a good story out of peepers potentially defecting to a more competent villain/"stealing" haters GF. It'd be the best pairing storywise. Wander and Dom is just boring.

I feel like the best way would've been not using her at all. Her turning softer would inevitably seem like pandering to the fans, while her returning as a villain would undo the ending of S2.
