>LOL NO!

They made up for it.

This was back in the good 'ol days when shipping was for shits and giggles half of the time and nobody felt any need to kowtow to it. In fact nobody remember this now big it used to be a Grade A Fandom No-No to even mention shipping existed to the creators. The hope was they didn't even know about it.

This was one of those transitioning ones like Harry and Hermione where some people felt like they should be able to say where the story should go, but it wasn't a given then. It's no a given now either, but there's more pressure from "those" kinds of shippers.

makes more sense that 2 teenagers with water and fire powers end loving each other

Because Avatar is a cookie cutter coming of age story

They're better suited than her and Aang honestly. Aang and Katara feel more like siblings to me.

Because they never ever liked each other liked that.

Accept it.

SAD

Because they only didn't hate each other for 1/4th of the final season of the show. They didn't have enough time to develop their relationship.

It's been almost 13 years, and these fags are still pissed that their ship never came in. Why can't you move on already?

Some of the moved on to Reylo and Lotura

it was a different time. a time when creators does not bow down to the shipniggers.

Because Zutara was cool

He knows Firecest is supreme

Most likely it's new people watching Avatar for the first time on Netflix.

My answer to OP's question is that they felt that the hero needs to get the girl, even if the hero they created was a fucking monk. And then needed to retcon stuff like "Yeah, they're monks but they FUCKED."

Of course they fucked. Can't maintain a civilization if everybody stayed celibate.

The plan was always Aang/Katara whether they had chemistry or not. Problem was this scene had more genuine emotion than any Katara/Aang moment. They should have switched it up.

Because the creator understood it was a terrible pairing that shippers only like because shippers generally are mentally unbalanced.

Aang should’ve been a volcel.

That's because a great deal of the shipping fandom was hormonal pre-teen girls and wine moms who self-inserted as Katara because she was overbearing and feminine.

I mean the Aangbowl was actually the only real question in ATLA
Did all Zutara shippers want Aang to end up with Toph or something?

>It's been almost 13 years, and these fags are still pissed that their ship never came in.
The salt never ends, huh :)

Cause authors actually had a spine and told the story they wanted to and not to be concerned with trying to gain popularity via pandering

>still seething
Godamn dude, its been over a decade. Let it go.

I could have seen Aang/Toph going romantic after S2

Man I miss Lewis Black and 2000s Daily Show and Colbert Report.

This. It's not Kataang vs. Zutara, it is Kataang vs. Zukaang. Zutara is the crazy people yelling at rocks.

Good masked question, why DON'T the producers stand up to that shit as often lately?

Where does the audience get off demanding shit? God I hate the web 2.0 mentality. Your opinion doesn't matter, people only ask for it because more discussion means more visibility.

Because Zuzula is the canon ship

>why DON'T the producers stand up to that shit as often lately?
They do though. Voltron is a pretty prime example, 99% of the fandom was gay shipperfags and fujos and the producers still went with their darling shitty het ship that not even other het shippers in the fandom wanted.

>as often

I hated the triangle chins too much to care about the relationships anyway.
