Heard it has Zeus being a great dad and Hera being the ultimate villain. That true? Fucking boring if so.

Yes.
Zeus is Yoda/Obi-Wan, he gives the protagonist a lightsaber (which can cut through anything, glows blue, and even has the lightsaber hum), then he trains him to swordfight, and sacrifises himself to save Hera from a giant.
He is basically an absolutely nice guy, the only morally questionable thing he does is cheat on Hera. Also, he technically rapes the protagonist's mother by deceit, but the show doesn't realize this.
Myth Zeus is a very interesting character who is an absolute asshole. Remember that Zeus didn't want to give fire to humans and raped hundreds of women. Not sure why they would want to turn all that into a generic mentor.

Why does Hades need to be villain of everything? In the myths, the only bad thing he does is kidnap Persephone, and considering all gods do it, doesn't make him particularly evil.
Hades =!= Satan. It isn't like Greek myth lack powerful antagonists.

Yes, I'm fucking pissed. I'm pissed that all the gods have red blood when it is well known that ichor golden. Also the archetypal Greek struggle isn't good vs evil, but man vs nature/fate. I hate how the show is absolutely humorless when the epics it was inspired by were hilarious. I am annoyed that i am not told were the events take place like it was difficult to orient a story that happens in a physical, real location. And I'm very "offended" that the script writing process was to type "Once upon a time in ancient Greece" and let autocomplete do the rest of the plot

although it seems a lot of Greeks took part in the production of the show, they fucked it up. If you really want mythology done justice, just read the Percy Jackson books.
Also the scene when the two randos say that "The Greeks would never bet on a black man" is outright wrong. For one, the Ethiopian wouldn't have been allowed to participate in a greek sport since he is a barbarian. Secondly, the blacks shouldn't flatter themselves, Greeks have always been equal opportunity racists towards everyone, not just them, but europeans and asians too.

Zeus isn't a moral agent per se in Greek mythology, usually he is what the plot demands him to be.

I really really wanted to like this because I'm Greek but the writing was stupid. How was his brother so much older looking AND the first guy to eat a giant and start the cult..when did he have time? The fucking sword just gets lost. Gods are just whatever. Black guy. No gays whatsoever. Hades randomly bad guy. Biggest insult was Hades saying that spear was actually his which would make that weapon Varatha. Varatha should have been perfectly capable of slaying Talos in that case + so much more

The script was bad, the sound mixing was AWFUL with some sound effects just not present, the animation was choppy and lame and the gore was over the top and stupid.
All in all it reminds me of those DC movies that ended with that R rated one recently, low effort trash with titties and blood peddled out quick to get some cash out of the room temperature IQ market.

The giant designs were pretty cool though.
