I mean unlike most characters people post this about, he didn't do anything wrong? Unless you count that episode where he imprisoned a guest as canon and you're not supposed to. Also yes the fight during the Circle was dumb. But Ford was also being a dumb fuck at that moment for no reason so they share that blame. And overall Ford's way, way fucking more to blame for everything.

The Bill & Stan similarities always interested me, I'd like to see that relationship explored in some way. Maybe Bill revives within Stan, but he also doesn't have any of his memories. He and Stan hit up a friendship within Stan's mindscape.

I'll never find it now because this was many years ago but someone on Twitter once made a cute and very well-drawn little comic AU where both Stan and Bill wound up with amnesia. Bill survived but was stuck in tiny little triangle form. He was a tiny little triangle who lived in Stan's hat or in his pocket and they became amnesia friends. It was very cute and very very well-drawn.

All Ford did was correct his grammar, which I think is just his personality quirks coming out he should have held it back but it's nowhere near the fuckheadery Stanley acted like.

The show had Stanley sacrifice himself because it knew how hard he fucked up. Honestly I wouldn't blame someone for thinking Stanley's reaction was OOC he had a lot of emotions building up but c'mon it's the literal apocalypse he realistically would have spent the week of Weirdmageddon thinking Dipper and Mabel were dead or at least unsafe, they were missing for a while, he should understand the severity of the situation. Even earlier in the episode he was using other survivors to pamper him and tried to escape during the mech battle which really does not reflect well on Stanley.

Were the Gravity Falls threads good?

Travesty no 1 was the series ending as early as it did, but travesty no 2 was stan frying his brain to kill bill then getting his memories back not 30 seconds later. I think that was a cool way to have a "death" of a major character in a disney cartoon but him just shrugging it off ruins any value of his "sacrifice"

In the beginning with the Loreshit parts yes, people actually figured out the Twin Twist and there was some clever as fuck shit. But aside from that and later it really depending because there was some fucking awful and disturbing (in a bad way) shit alongside funny shit, creative content, and some interesting or chill discussions, so it was a mixed bag.
