I do actually, but I just dont think every fandom produces interesting fanfiction. Most of star wars fanfiction is "what if Obi Wan was secretly GAY for Anakin??" or "What if Anakin ran away with Asoka?"
Most Harry Potter fanfiction seems to be about the author working through some sorta family trauma like being the ignored middle child or the unplanned youngest
I imagine ATLA and Korra fanfiction would be a lot of "what if Aang was less of a pussy and decided to kill the fire lord?" or "What if Korra was just 100% obsessed with her love life and did nothing else?"
