Apparently Dynamite is crowdfunding a new Elvira comic, and that left me with 2 questions. First, are Dynamite's Elvira comics any good? And second, how fucked is Dynamite if they are forced to crowdfund comics?
Elvira
I just thought of a third question. How is Elvira so hot for a granny?
Mommy
>First, are Dynamite's Elvira comics any good?
Mistress of the Dark is okay. Shape of Elvira is shirlt.
>shirlt
Shit*
Disgusting crusty old hag.
As far as old ladies go, she's cute. Not like in a sexy grandma way, more of a "I baked cookies" way. She doesn't really look the part anymore.
Having said that, someone could probably take old footage of her hosting gig and deep-fake her with some new dialog. They could could easily hire her to do new voiceover work, and just adjust the mouth movements a bit.
>tfw you'll never eat elvira's homemade cookies and then wash it down with her milk
Agreed. Shape wasn't worth the several months of delays between issues since you see the ending coming a mile away, but the main series was pretty good.
>Dynashite
Cringe and passed
>I just thought of a third question. How is Elvira so hot for a granny?
She's Lynda Carter teir
>how fucked is Dynamite if they are forced to crowdfund comics?
Not necessarily fucked at all. Running a crowdfund means you're able to pre-gauge audience interest and adjust printing demands accordingly while also off-setting upfront costs. Most successful webcomic kickstarters have been doing this for years; Dave Willis, for example, offsets a huge amount of costs by spreading them out over backer tiers.
A team of professional tailors, makeup artists, etc can de-age someone for the camera pretty well. Most stills of her are probably touched up in photoshop like a magazine cover would be.
You likely wouldn't recognize her out of costume unless someone told you who she was.
You don't even need real people anymore. CGI Elvira could be made lifelike.
>still no elvira cartoon
Gore and violence is fine, but the world will fucking end if you expose children to boobs or swear words.
Even Marvel is crowdfunding comics now. No publisher needs to and you shouldn’t support it
put it on adult swim or fx or something.
Imagine an Elvira cartoon by the people who made Mike Tyson Mysteries.
That covers most of the comedy, but she needs some more cheesecake.
I think they'd be fine with cheesecake. Especially since Elvira herself would probably demand it. Imagine being a horny animator in 2020 and then Elvira walks up and gives you free reign to make a tit filled cartoon.
>tingle was only in one episode
We were robbed.
I'm still looking for a complete collection of her Claypool comics, desu.
How are the Claypool comics? I'm kind of surprised she managed to carry a comic for so long.
What's this from?
That screenshot is from Scooby-Doo Return to Zombie Island. She also appeared in Happy Halloween Scooby-Doo, but they made her uglier.
I'm surprised Dynamite has never bothered to republish them. Remastering old independent books seem to be one of their strong suits.
It might simply be a rights issue. Reprinting them does seem like a no brainer though since they were in black and white, so they'd be cheap to make.
>CGI Elvira could be made lifelike.
Realistive cgi people always look uncanny.
Increase boob jiggle until everything else is no longer noticed.
>Increase boob jiggle
increase the size as well
I met her at a comic con. (she was in her normal casandra peterson costume instead of being Elvira)
she is still really attractive even though she's old (they really cake the make up on her for Elvira)
>she was in her normal casandra peterson costume
those are just called clothes, user.
She's a DC character.
im pretty sure she's Elvira in real life and dresses up like Cassandra when she's in disguise
