This one always makes me giggle.

>When the girl you're here to rescue has to rescue you
>But you rescue her rescuing you rescuing her.

Larry Hama rules. Its crazy how influential this stuff is for something that isn't that well remembered these days, all things considered. dozens of seemingly standard 80s comics became what influenced the 90s. Liefeld says there's no Deadpool without Snake Eyes.

>Only a God-Mode Ninja can hope to even delay another God-Mode Ninja

Cool

This issue inspired probably the greatest "event" in the history of Marvel comics.
marvel.fandom.com/wiki/'Nuff_Said
>'Nuff Said was more of a theme than an actual event, occuring in titles in early 2002. The challenge for the writers and artists of the books involved was to tell a story without using any words, only art. Each issue included a partial script of the issue at the end, to better inform the reader of what happened in the issue.

Hama's G.I.Joe is unironically one of the best comics of it's time.
