Pietro and Maria will be the ones making the preparations. What specific type of preparations, we don't know. Presumably modifications have to be made in order to actually launch Amity, or some downside will exist. Likely the former.

Ok so I know everyone is reeeeeeing about the fact Qrow still wants to kill Ironwood, but I honestly think the show is trying to portray Qrow as in the wrong here.
They focus on Qrow when Robyn is saying, “this is all your fault” which makes me think they’re trying to say that deep down Qrow knows it’s his fault and he’s just using Ironwood as an outlet for his anger and frustration.
