It's not like she would have hair.

Oh I know! Can we give Croc a villain sidekick/love interest like you would see with Mercy Graves or Harley (I guess Punchline now)?

What are some good Croc stories from the comics?

I always enjoyed him in other media, so some recommended reading would be great.

the Jokers' Asylum one of Killer Croc was pretty good.

I have to confess, I really am not a fan of the "big chin with exposed teeth" design. I don't hate it but I really don't understand why it became so popular.

Killer Croc is rad. Super underrated.

agreed, it's a pity his current position at DC is so shit.

What's YOUR favorite Croc explanation, Zig Forums?

Genetic mutation?
Voodoo gone wrong?
Black magic?
Animal-splicing experiment?

His early stories are fascinating, if only to see how the character devolved. He starts out as more of a prototype of Bane than anything else. He's the new big heavy that comes out of nowhere and runs circles around Batman for a while.

Remember that time that Killer Croc cheated on his shortstack gf Baby Doll.

>no Killer Croc series where he returns home to rural Florida where despite zero change in characterization he manages to be the hero in comparison to all the fucked up shit Florida can throw at him

an australian chick that is a master at wrangling wild animals

>female Steve Irvin type who has a serious kink for crocodiles

This could be hilarious and also sexy. I bet the Australians wouldn't even get mad at the stereotype, they're an entire nation of good sports.

*Steve Irwin type, I mean

You can picture her saying "Crikey!" when Croc shows her his massive scaly dick.

Remember when he had a crock chick? A crock chick he impregnated? Yeah nobody cares

IIRC that was the snake chick that was a minor character in the early Batwoman stuff.

>BATMAN ARKHAM: KILLER CROC collects some of the villain's greatest stories by some of the industry's greatest creators, including Gerry Conway (JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA), Chuck Dixon (NIGHTWING), Doug Moench (THE SPECTRE), Kelley Jones (DEADMAN), Norm Breyfogle (DETECTIVE COMICS), Dan Jurgens (SUPERMAN) and many more!

Waylon Jones was born with a rare medical condition that caused his skin to become scaly and his appearance to develop progressively into that of a crocodile. Forced to wrestle alligators in a carnival, Waylon decided that if society declared him a freak, he would succumb to his savage nature and become Killer Croc.

Known for his brutal strength and fearsome rage, Killer Croc has been one of Batman's most physically formidable foes. When facing Croc, the Dark Knight isn't just dealing with madness: he's fighting a creature who is more beast than man. But Killer Croc will stop at nothing to defeat (or consume) his prey!

Collects DETECTIVE COMICS #525, #660 and #808-810; BATMAN #358, #359, #471, #489, #512, #521 and #522; BATMAN AND ROBIN #23.4; JOKER'S ASYLUM KILLER CROC #1; and BATMAN CHRONICLES #3.

i wonder if he could ever get back to being a gang boss who walked around in a sharp suit

Sure, he just needs a writer who wants to write him that way.

I feel like it'd come out of nowhere without the proper setup, specially since his modern portrayal is that he just wants a quiet life but keeps getting roped into stupid bullshit.

It's not fair. This stupid reptile got to be in a movie and I'm STILL waiting for my big screen debut. Fuck this gay earth.

How monstrous should Killer Croc be?
I like how he looked in Arkham Asylum but i feel that might already be too much.

Most importantly:
Crocodile head - yes or no?
Tail - yes or no ?

Genetic mutation that gets worse as time goes on.

For the sake of "realism", one explanation I always wanted to see;
>initially born with a grotesque genetic mutation. it's pretty bad, he looked fucked up right from the start, but it would've been a stretch to consider him a "crocodile" person
>becoming a sideshow freak in an unfortunate twist of fate during his early childhood, it wouldn't be totally unheard of if they deliberately chiseled 'scales' into his rough hyde and permanently modded his body for him to seem more overtly reptilian (sharpening his adult teeth into "fangs", etc.)
>they parade him around from town to town, showcasing him first as an evolution aberration, then eventually he becomes a circus strongman in his own right when he reaches adulthood, wrestling gators and performing bizarre feats of strength under the (given) stage name "Killer Croc"
I feel like this could even tie into just how alienated he feels from society too, because people would either presume he WAS a literal crocodile-person, given how implausible his 'birth defect' seems, or they'd be able to recognize his body was deliberately altered - and would presume he just 'wanted' to be a terrifying looking monster by his own volition, which just feeds more and more into his typecast identity as a thuggish killer.

When did he get a tail?

>No porn of this couple
How disappointing

Give Croc a job!

>Animal-splicing experiment?
I like that because it justifies him looking like a fucking Crocodile much better than a skin condition.
