Anyone here watched Blood of Zeus? Turned out much better than I expected.

ugly sameface designs and choppy slideshow animation. garbage.
Why are these western studios trying so hard to make “anime” when we can do much better than that?
Yeah the animation wasn't great. I also wish they greeked it up a bit, like adding subtle ornaments to faces or something. I liked the story, though.
Looks like the kind of show where there is nothing but gay talk and the plow is slow as fuck.
I guess right?
It's still the same Japs and Koreans drawing the shows, though. Westerners only handle the plot.
Animation, character design, and all around production value is garbage.
But as someone who likes mythology it works very well as a myth. Like, shit doesn't always make sense or is reasonable for the modern storytelling, but it's intentionally random and kinda of enjoyable because of that.
But if you aren't into myth it's really really bad.
Partially. There aren't a whole lot of battles if that's what you're looking for (except for the ending), but the actual pacing was good.
I want Hera to sit on my face.
I liked how a lof of shit interntwined but wasn't retarded. It also was great at showing Gods as retards who produced butterfky effects with their petty shit. Honestly felt like an actual myth in that regard. A much better "cycle of violence" plot than The Last of Us 2.
Loved it. First time I've found a cartoon satisfying in a couple of years. My only real gripe is that Hera lived. Dumb bitch should have bit the dust when Zeus did.
Your opinion is objectively garbage.
Do you mean it was better or worse?
Its alright. Needed more gay sex though
Castlevania got you covered, then.
As you should.
Hera is such a bitch. Really reminds me of my mother.
It was bad. The writing was sloppy as all hell. The overall plot would have been fun but I can't excuse how dumb and contrived a lot of the story beats were.
The visuals and character designs aside from the demons were good.
no, animation quality is storyboard driven now by animators for studio powerhouse. which is why their previous projects have all looked amazing. I dont know if they split their stuff or someone left but blood of zeus didnt really feel like powerhouse most of the time
I don't understand. I thought the animation was pretty great, as were the character designs. Have I gone completely retarded or something?
But there was no animation, just stillshots. The designs were fine though.
I thought it was pretty good. Not perfect but it scratched an itch that the vast majority of western animation doesn't scratch. Hope it gets more seasons, definitely better than Castlevania.
It's arguably too fast paced.
Retards are exaggerating flaws because they're offended that Netflix called it "anime".
I would call the animation a mixed bag. Has its good moments and bad, you can tell where the budget went (like the vast majority of televised anime, incidentally).
>Why are these western studios trying so hard to make “anime” when we can do much better than that?
Because they've been spewing out so much shit for so many years now that the brand is poison.
Meanwhile 'anime' is massively growing in popularity, so by co-opting the 'anime' moniker, western studios hope to draw audiences.
It was okay, but some of the designs looked distractingly out of place. It looked like maybe the character designer got all of their information from anime and video games rather than looking at any actual Greek or Roman armor and weapons.
Her husband cheated on her and lied to her repeatedly. It's not like her anger came out of nowhere.
He is a faggot too.
If there's another season, then maybe there will be more Apollo episodes.
Shit taste, she's crazy.
Alexia on the other hand.
>Zeus made a powerful sword
>The hero threw it away
>The villain found it but used it only once
>even he abandon that sword
Hades gonna use that bad boy
