clearly the colourist in charge of that frame.

Hm...was this that one episode about the police woman that was going out with vergil's dad? Who thought he was some kind of delinquent?

Uh, she wanted him to stop and show him his bag, he couldn’t because his costume was in it so he ran away and his dad got super pissed about it

Virgil for running away. I think he could have maybe improvised an explanation for why he seems to have a costume in his bag.

Otherwise, I wonder if the policewoman/men can't ask to look inside someone's property without a warrant even with cause.

>female cop
That's a new one. What drugs were the writers taking

Virgil

Just say you're going to a costume party and wanna be Static or something

I don't know how to tell you this, Zig Forums, but vigilantism is a crime

They can ask. You are allowed to say no. Rules are different for minors in school.

Not in the superhero universe. Superheroes are allowed to fight each other all the time.

This is the first time I’ve seen a Static Shock frame and it didn’t look washed out

So is shooting rampaging supervillains, apparently.

He's black, laws don't protect him silly.they throw him in prison.

A black person.

the police for an unlawful stop and search?

I'm going to have to ask for lewds of that cop lady

Couldn't he just make an excuse for why he had a costume in his bag? Like he was a member of a static shock fanclub or something?

Honestly if I was trying to hide a super hero identity I'd make a point of comically playing up my resemblance to my alter ego in my greater social circles in my mundane life.

>deep play: make a cheap ass version of my costume and offer to "impersonate" my hero identity at friends kids parties, quietly show off powers to prove I'm real to just the kids

What’s this style of art called? Scooby Doo had it for sometime. I abhor it so fucking much. It’s the equivalent of those 90’s Mcgruff/D.A.R.E. commercials.

Stop and search has been proven to lower crime rates, i think it was New York that got rid of them. And the assualt rate skyrocketed

Wasn't unlawful back then.

1) How does randomly searching people for possession crimes lower the crime rate? Wouldn't that make it higher?
2) What does Stop and search have to do with assault?

1. I do not know, maybe you catch people with knifes and shit they feel to pussy to do whatever they were planning
2. Again i dont know
All i know is it was called "racist". So they got rid of it, and the crime rated spiked so high they walked it back in like 2 weeks

It was basically proving that the entire police department but deliberately targeted only black people and a time planting evidence or just a saying they committed a crime while trying to Stop and search because they had a major mandate to send people to jail within a certain amount of time. and police have been shown time and time again if anything that's the job harder in any way they are willing to go the extra mile to make it not happen even if it's against the interest of peace and justice.

Black guy > Woman > Based latino cop

Was he resisting?

what, your grammar is fucked

All of them, for being born black

He kinda had to as a superhero keeping his identity secret

So this is supposed to be in the same universe as Batman Beyond and BTAS? It looks nothing like either.

>refusing to follow a lawful order

Wasn’t that lawful

it didn't, the crime rate in new york has trended down since 9/11 (before that actually but whatever) and while stop and frisk might have been a part of that, it was overall a stupid law that really isn't necessary and honestly targets the wrong people.

it's literally only up now because of pandemic nonsense, and even then we're talking early teens levels of violence, not whatever they make you think it is
