some previews last month show krabs/squidward as councilors, and the series is called Kamp Koral with Ks, so the implication is that Krabs is running the operation.

It's implied that he has been to the krusty krab many times and wanted to work there since.

It's also implied that he and Krabs aren't very familiar with each other, Krabs only engages with him professionally and has to ask Squidward if he'd recommend him for the job
