As for your comparison to Ultimatum, the main difference between the two is that, love it or hate it, I can see how people could care about at least some of the characters in Ultimate Universe enough to be upset at the senseless slaughter. These shitty "Justice League War" universe movies failed to make me care about any of their shitty renditions of characters.
That's not to say I think this movie is good, just that instead of rage I felt nothing.

These. This movie was somehow even more senseless than Ultimatum because characters were just dropping dead at random except for the ones with obvious plot armor. Not that anyone cared because these movies were fucking dogshit. I just think it's funny how they went through the trouble of giving Wondy and Superman new costumes or the Teen Titans new characters and solo movies just to destroy the universe not too long after.

Literally the only character I actually gave a shit about dying was Etrigan, mainly because his death was so fucking retarded and unnecessary. Seriously, if Constantine had done that "snap Wonder Woman out of her evil trance" magic shit like two minutes earlier, Etrigan would've lived. The entire scene is set up in such a stupid way that it unintentionally makes it look like John WANTED Etrigan to get skewered by Wondy.
Combine that with the fact that the Para-Dooms' powers make no sense. They can tank blows from and beat the shit out of the likes of Superman yet get sliced apart by batarangs and swords or King Shark's teeth (which admittedly were covered in kryptonite but there's no reason why kryptonite should even work on them, since it doesn't work on Doomsday). No matter which way you slice it, this movie was pure idiocy.

They tried so hard to pander to people that disliked the New 52 by trying to change the costumes back to the classical ones and adapting stuffs like Death and Return of Superman and Hush, but it didn't work so they went ultra butthurt.

For some reason it is always interesting to see main characters getting murdered. As for the rest of the movie... it is just like the comics with the cancer of a team up. Wonder Woman leads the JLD on paper but she is sidelined right away in the favor of Constantine / Zatanna and others (just like in the comics). Superman have to be the one who inspires others while she becomes a mind controlled obstacle as always.

Wondy being on JL Dark was never gonna work out long term. She's not really mystical-fixated in the same way that Constantine or Zatanna or Doctor Fate are, she has mythological connections but it's not a major focus of her character.
