I mean, it's not like they could have the gems beating the shit out of Steven even though he was a monster but like, everything about this episode felt so off.
When everyone broke down crying about how they fucked up Steven it felt like it was trying to play for laughs but I'm honestly not sure if that's what they were going for and it makes the tone of everything so confusing when it was built up as such a big deal for the entire season.
Also they did nothing visually to make it look dramatic, just a typical sunny beach day.
At the very least Steven could've destroyed a building or two instead of literally nothing.

My problem with avatar finale its how open ended was, its clear the intneiton here was to have a book 4 or a movie to be the real finale, but nope.
Jesus the finale make this huge tease about Zuko mother, and what about all fire nation generals and soldiers still on the earth kingdom, no way they would accept Zuko a traitor as fire lord.

Change your Mind was beyond shit. It utterly ruined the Diamonds as characters and wasted a bunch of shit that would've been great had it not been crammed into a rushed ending. The movie was good though, they really should've just ended the series there.
