I come from a 15 generation circus family
My grandfather was a somewhat famous clown in 1940 Italy.
I'm not part of that life but I always find clown and circus based media to be quite surreal
Also there are no girl clowns, proper clowning is too physically demanding and ladies are better off showing their pretty face in a trapeze act.
But if course chiffon used to be exclusively male
