It's fairly simple.

White men have privilege and so any story that depicts them as aggrieved or sympathetic especially when they're being violent is to be admonished. Conversely black people are underprivileged and so when they rise up in shows (and IRL) it is to be celebrated.

There is no debate and anyone denying this isn't being honest. We can disagree if it is acceptable or agreeable but it's absolutely the modus operandi of content studios across all mediums these day.

Because it's good. It's a superhero movie but instead of loud, in your face effects it's a character analysis of someone who is pushed too far. I was hesitant to watch it because i hate memes but I was glad I did.
