What if Steven died near the end of the series?
I love SU. but I do wonder if killing off Steven would of been an interesting dark end to the series.
At the same time you can always continue the series with maybe his gem self surviving.
Or focus on Connie.

I would of just loved to see them expand on the gem Steven concept.
Like can he survive by himself? can he learn or show emotion? or is he just a robot?
What would happen if he could no longer fuse back with Steven.
Plus an episode where Steven and gem Steven go to the fun fair for some fun and gem Steven doesn't understand any of it and just wants to fuse again would be CUTE

That's because when they fuse Gem Steven copies Steven's emotions he can now feel what Steven feels right before fusing.

Honestly, I believe Pink Diamond is still in there. Either Steven chooses to live forever, or when he's done, all of his Steveness leaves and it's just Pink. I don't think she's doing it as hiding, I just think she's still in there somewhere, regardless of what the show wants you to believe.

Steven had to go to therapy after. The hug just stopped him from moving.

That would make Steven's death something pretty interesting if so, because you'd have Pink actively freaking out and grieving for her son, but then she'd also have to make a choice: sacrifice herself and save her son, or continue living and just have a new child instead?
It always baffles me how SU fags are out there defending the show for letting Lapis, the Diamonds and Spinel get away with their crimes because the show is about "love" but also supports edgy shit like this.

Why is everyone so obbsessed with make chill and freindly shows mindlessy edgy and grimdark?
Steven's human form dying would be interesting but then it would also be abandoning the whole allegory of being the intermediary between the human and gem world that this show was essentially founded on.
Killing human Steven off at the end of SU and having him deal with the consequences of being a full gem would have been something cool to explore in SUF. Mind that you'd never get something like that in a CN show but it's a cool thing to think about.
