Guilds are nespostic organizations based around hierarchy around a trade. The former is expansive and lower class while the latter is insular and middle class and is formed around a profession like craftsmanship, writing, or banking, and they've existed since the feudal age

It's a bad mix. You need to have journalistic integrity/skills to do a solid interview. If you're in love with the guy, it just doesn't work.
