774 really, REALLY toned her down in the manga.
Nagatoro was originally a full on psycho with mental problems. Now she is sorta nerfed to a mild brat. She is basically an entirely new character at this point.

I'm not sure how to feel honestly. NuNagatoro is definitely more waifuable but there was something engaging about a slice of life focused entirely on a psychopath. Made me interested on what exactly is wrong with her that made her that way and how far will her "pranks" go. The best way I can describe it is I want to fuck NuNagatoro more but I'm more interested in seeing her old version if that makes sense.
