Interesting fact, Gridman was one of the two shows Demarco lost in 2019 when they had to scramble for a replacement. It has a promo already made from back then as well. Not sure what Demarco did to get it now, but I would assume some form of compensation from Funi for failing to deliver Black Clover till the next renewal cycle is a factor

The only one of those besides Gridman that is hard confirmed for 2021 is Uzamaki. AS has never delivered any Toonami projects on the initially reported date, so that change of Fena or Blade Runner making 2021 (especially if there is another coof wave) is low

It wasn’t. Remember when Fagmarco was literally on stage at a con panel and was about to reveal a show and someone told him he couldn’t? That was Gridman. Toonami allegedly secures shows 6 months in advance, so it’s certainly possible to have a show and lose it before it ever airs
