Neither a comic book nor a cartoon.

This shit feels really condescending for some reason, dehumanizing even. Everything looks like its designed for infants, everyone just looks easily replaceable, the fact that so many of them involve people with no facial features is vaguely menacing.

It just feels like the people who make this sort of thing hate drawing and hate their audience.

Why even make these drawings? What's the point?

this is more /gd/ than /ic/
this corportate/infographic style is usually used for very dry concept visualizations for very dry white collar consumers

it's called vector art you dumb faggots
>reee why does google prefer simple designs easily to animate over my 30 hour overrendered big titty anime girl

>hate their audience
Their audience is retarded normies with no taste, not art critics.

>my friend with an art degree needs a job but can't actually draw

the difference is is that this is boring, but calarts is annoying
so calarts is the worst, this is just meh

this

Remember when companies used to be wild?

>you'll own nothing and be happy

fucking google and their literal toddler artstyle
scratch that, toddler and children's books had way better artstyles

remember clip art? almost the same

We live in the digital age. Where the only limits is our imagination and technical know-how with digital programs. With a drawing pad and some photoshop skills, any form of art from any time period can be replicated. In a country where advertising and capitalistic endeavors have explored EVERY form of eye catching ad that there are books dedicated to simply containing pages of vintage and new ads. We are at the peak of what humans can do with art, and we're still pushing forward. Not to mention thousands of people dedicated to software and animation would create interactive and moving advertisements to elevate themselves above annoying ads and go beyond.

And they chose blobs.

The question is:
>Is this manufactured to be the most inoffensive shit ever?
or
>Are the "artists" this shitty?

Clip art literally has more soul since it at least has variations distinct enough. This is when ya style develops.

Both.

Please shut the fuck up. I've seen the Zig Forums threads about this art and it's the dumbest shit ever. It's that selective line of thinking that often comes from people who don't think video games cause violence, but someone how architecture is demoralizing them and destroying their race. I'm fucking sick of these miserable sad sacks who find a way to be offended by this stupid shit.

It's like hating helvetica on a speed limit sign because if it was written beautifully by a skilled calligrapher you would have made white babies.

They know their audience.

It's mass marketed, simple, and cheap. Especially with art like this, it's not meant to distract from the information it's attached too, it's not meant to upstage.

Who is that guy supposed to be?

It's bauhaus guys.

looks just like shitty tumblr art

>dont ask questions
>just consoom
>it makes me ANGRY that you won't shut up and just consoom

subhuman.

You know what I'm really tired of? Faux-Retro Little Golden Book style.

It's not that deep user
Also I bet you're the type of person to get pissed off about artists putting politics everywhere, despite that being your ilk's entire raison d'etre

Consoom what? Graphic design basics?

>you WILL you the clip art, goy!
kek

>This is when ya style develops.

That's good design for it's purpose though. It'd be weird for it to be an original, beautiful art work. It's like dressing up fancy to go to the airport; we're at the point where we drop that pretense. It used to be a grand event but now it's common. It doesn't matter how authentic or expensive your steampunk tuxedo is, you're going to look like an asshole next to the guy wearing something from the Walmart discount aisle.

>It's that selective line of thinking that often comes from people who don't think video games cause violence,
It relieves people's needs for "violent" competition. That is literally why people enjoy many games so much. It is what people do in peacetime.
It's been, what, 15 years since that Jack lawyer? You ever going to grow up dude, or are you just an organic internet bot?
>but someone how architecture is demoralizing them and destroying their race
Architecture isn't being discussed. You aren't even saying anything about the art. Your brain is a mess, built for navigating internet arguments instead of "humaning."
I wonder if humaning will take off like adulting? I'd like that.
