What part of HAVE NO FEARS WE'VE GOT STORIES FOR YEARS did you not understand? I'm convinced that the only thing that could stop new episodes of the Simpsons would be an actual real life civilization as we know it ending scenario. Not necessarily an extinction event but something that fucks us back to the stone age. For all I know though there could be advanced metaphysical alteration forces at play that cause these yellow tumors to persist beyond even the heat death of the universe, perhaps becoming the last plague upon God's Creation before the big unending ending. Or maybe when Dan dies.

It won't end. Replacing Carl's voice wasn't just for diversity points, it was testing the waters for voice actor replacement. Once they have people on board with voice actors changing, then it never has to cease production.

You know what? I truly miss old Simpsons. Yeah it was kinda bullshit some times but at the very first season homer was based as fuck. He was the one to get angry about his family being glued to the tv ans dragged them to the psychologist so that they would fix their relationship.
