Put a team on it that wanted to make it and cared about the franchise. Not put people on it that secretly wanted to make their own show and begrudgedly agreed to work on sherah to get a paycheck.
Tries harder to make the villains sympathetic if they are suppose to get happy endings. I mean, isnt catra a murderer? And she just gets to win the waifu bowl?
Age up the characters if they are suppose to be warriors.
Give the gay trap lizard a jessica rabbit voice instead of an exaggerated gay voice. Or a dr girlfriend voice. Something less stereotypical and gayface.

More battles. Animate the battles better.
Put some tits and ass on someone if not sherah. Diverse body types does not mean chunky or ugly girls in the drama club.

Ops picture is fine. Use something like that. MC doesnt have to be super sexy. But she does need to look like an adult athletic woman capable of chopping of guys with a sword.
