They look like shit.

That has to be the worst armor I've ever seen. Why does it have massive horns? What's the point of having so many spiky bits that are going to snap off from one battle? How does he even move in that thing!?

A few decades ago audiences went out to see George Lucas re-release updates to the original Star Wars trilogy for just a few minutes of cg'ed footage. I think audiences will be just as likely to want to see Snyder's cut of what he originally intended the Justice League film to be.
