Take off the nostalgic goggles, is this actually a good movie? Does it have good writing, a solid story, funny jokes? Or do people just enjoy it because they watched it as a kid?

it's good because despite being the worst idea in existence, they still went through with it.

It’s not that bad but yeah people mostly like it for nostalgic purposes.

I enjoy

IT SUCKS IT SUCKS!!! AAAAAAA

I really tired to enjoy after a rewatch but Billy west and Michael jordans TERRIBLE acting ruin it

>good writing
>solid story
>funny jokes
none of that is important to elicit a response from the audience. it just has to work.
>Or do people just enjoy it because they watched it as a kid?
that's not a bad thing. what's bad is when people try to pass mediocre stuff from their childhoods or their understanding of someone's childhood as great works of art.
pic very much related.

It's certified kino

It's a fine movie, it's not the worst movie ever like retards might say but it's not great.

The latter. Jordan's acting sucks too much, but the animation is great, obviously.

The kids dissing Charles Barkley still makes me laugh.

>Does it have good writing, a solid story, funny jokes?
Yes my favorite part is when Bill Murray says Larry is clear

its a 6/10 movie with a 10/10 soundtrack. i mean seriously the entire soundtrack sounds like it was meant for black titanic or some shit

The weird Bill Murray shit took me out of the movie even as a kid, and I didn't even dislike the guy.

space jam is one of those things that people kinda just remember. i dont have strong feelings about it and the only reason it came to light is so they could license and advertise two birds with one stone

It has Bugs, Jordan and Lola, on top of having Bill Murray and Charles Barkley in it. Yeah, it's worth watching and you're a faggot for asking without watching it your damn self to from YOUR OWN DAMN OPINION ON IT! FUCK YOU!

Yes i liked it. I rewatched it recently.

Yes it was but not for todays culture very well except for the silly parts, it was of its time Looney Tunes hype when they were constantly pushing how cool and rad they were and had Looney Tunes constantly on cable tv, kids actually played outside before the wave of technology so sports were always pushed and everyone knew Jordan. CGI was improving slowly and worked well on cartoons It was a series of events all at the right time that made it work. It is very nostalgic.

It's a fine kids film. Inoffensive.

Fun fact : Astro Boy 2009's script was written by one of the Space Jam writers. It was his last script before retiring ( he was more than 60 years old when he wrote Astro )

Wayne Knight is the real star in this movie.

one of the best kids movies that's for sure.
don't analyze the film with an adult lens

I liked it. It's the best basketball movie ever.

WATCH COACH CARTER NOW

Based. Much better film

I did. It was generic as shit. If I wanted to see a movie try to be a basketball movie by Spike Lee, I'd watch the actual basketball movie by Spike Lee.

YOU WATCH MAGIC VS BIRD, GREAT DOC!

>wah wah it was generic
Wow, nice reasoning ability, can I suck your dick?

If you want, go ahead.

it had seamless 2D and 3D. Terrible sadistic plot.

It kinda goes in the 'so bad it's good' category

Everyone shits on it which is kinda tiring since it wasn't THAT bad. It was ok.
